Comment: Design is dreadful, when typing the keyboard is completely unusable - you can experiment for yourself in a shop. Also there is simply no signal - I just don't receive incoming calls and the call reception is much worse than my friends who have iphones. Frankly i don't like the picture quality either and it is not at all in the same league as the iphone.
The good points are it has a decent sized screen and battery seems to be ok compared to Iphone and other Andriods. I own this phone and i really don't like it - i wish i hadn't bought one.
Comment: want this phone really bad but have to wait for its price to drop
Good: Speed, screen, size, call quality, Android
Bad: Battery, camera
Comment: Have this phone for a while now and am quite satisfied. I rooted the thing right away and put MIUI rom on it, got a bit better battery life (approx. 2 days with moderate usage and wifi on) and much better user experience. Overall, great phone with great OS.
Good: Everything (Cam,GPS,OS)
Comment: Best phone of 2010 and still very good in 2011
Good: the phone is fast lovely interface . perfectly sized.amazing for the web
Bad: the camera is a tiny bit bad
Comment: the htc desire is amazing
Good: Android 2.2, AMOLED screen, 5 mp camera, HD video, flash player, processor
Bad: internal memory, battery life
Comment: As a smartphone, it is great. Sync-ability with PC is great via third-party apps, HTC's own HTC Sync is not good. The HTC Sense UI is quite nice and the desktop clock looks good.
The camera has a great quality for a 5 mp resolution. The sound quality in the videos is good, whereas the sound quality of the sound recorder is not too good.
The internet connectivity via 3G and Wifi is excellant, though it is a bit of a drain on the battery.
The battery life is quite low depending on how it is used and some apps, downloadable via the Android Market, drain the battery a lot.
Overall, I think it is a great smartphone and would still recommend it.
Good: Interface and overall speed
Comment: Never mind the amount of megapixels, my iPod nano's video camera is much better than this.
Good: Screen Size
Bad: Camera, Design
Comment: The Colour Scheme Is Awfull, The Camera Takes Blurry Non HDR photo's.
Not A Very Good Phone For The Price
Good: Display, speed and battery life
Bad: Android pauses every now and then
Comment: I traded down from the Desire HD to the Desire, as the HD ran out of juice halfway through the day - and was a little big for my pocket. The Desire is just as good, and better in terms of longevity - a recharge overnight is all it needs, and it charges quickly if you want to top it up before you go out.
Still mystified by Android marketplace after iOS though....
