Good: the AMOLED screen - fantastic, HTC UI Sense, 1GHZ CPU, the durable packaging, Fast performance in everything

Bad: battery life, internal memory is pretty low, HQ video instead of HD, no 2.3 Gingerbread update available

Good: pummels the iphone into the gutter and stamps on it's head

Bad: looks like a 90's ford escort with it's black rubber

Comment: used to have an iphone 3gs but it crashed when i was doing important conference calls, the desire just works beautifully

Good: easy to use

Bad: it has completely died, no one can mend it and its only a year old

Comment: i loved it but one day the battery ran down and it wouldnt come back. The phone started heating up when the charger was plugged in. have tried everywhere to get it fixed. So beware and always back up your numbers and data!

Comment: Design is dreadful, when typing the keyboard is completely unusable - you can experiment for yourself in a shop. Also there is simply no signal - I just don't receive incoming calls and the call reception is much worse than my friends who have iphones. Frankly i don't like the picture quality either and it is not at all in the same league as the iphone.
The good points are it has a decent sized screen and battery seems to be ok compared to Iphone and other Andriods. I own this phone and i really don't like it - i wish i hadn't bought one.

Good: Speed, screen, size, call quality, Android

Bad: Battery, camera

Comment: Have this phone for a while now and am quite satisfied. I rooted the thing right away and put MIUI rom on it, got a bit better battery life (approx. 2 days with moderate usage and wifi on) and much better user experience. Overall, great phone with great OS.
