Good: HTC sense, speed of phone, great screen for videos and internet browsing
Bad: Battery life is not great, but this is the same as most smartphones
Comment: Don't be put off by the bulk of the phone, as user experience more than makes up for it
Good: FANTASTIC 4.3' SCREEN PERFECT FOR WEB BROWSING. SUPERB FOR EMAIL,TWITTER & FACEBOOK UPDATES ETC. CALL QUALITY AMAZING. MUSIC PLAYER BRILLIANT WITH DOLBY NOISE REDUCTION OR SURROUND SOUND. I'LL GIVE 8 OUT OF 10 FOR THE 8 MEGAPIXEL CAMERA AND GREAT VIDEO RECORDING AND PLAYBACK.. YOU CAN TELL BY THIS REVIEW THAT I LIKE THIS SMARTPHONE. OUTSTANDING MEDIA DEVICE. PERIOD
Bad: BATTERY NEEDS REGULAR CHARGING. BUT WHAT SMARTPHONE DOESN'T.
Comment: ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MEDIA DEVICE. I CAN'T SEE ME CHANGING THIS SMARTPHONE FOR A BETTER ONE FOR SOME TIME TO COME.AFTER ALL WHY BOTHER WHEN THIS MODEL DOES SO MANY THINGS AND DOES THEM EFFORTLESSLY...I'M STICKING WITH DESIRE HD. IT NEVER FAILS, EVER.
Good: walks up to the already bleeding, bruised iphone and pours sewage over it's head
Bad: battery life
Comment: read my original desire review to learn about the good
Good: Display, touch screen, Android apps
Bad: Battery life
Comment: Excellent phone, I stopped using my laptop after getting this phone.
Good: Great phone, has thousands of apps and extras which make this phone a great purchase.
Bad: This is my third HTC Desire HD. This is because the first two were both faulty. So it looks like there are many faulty hand-sets out there. + Its pretty big
Comment: My first HTC Desire HD kept freezing, and it sometimes wouldn’t open my contacts. It kept crashing and the lag while texting was terrible. I tried formatting the handset and it still wasn’t working correctly. I set the phone back to the company and 9 DAYS later my new handset arrived. I put my Pay Monthly sim card in this new handset and there was no network available. I phoned my network provider who then sent me a new sim card. This still didn't work and therefore I was told I had ANOTHER faulty handset. I was then sent my THIRD handset which now works fine.
Now I have a properly working handset, I cannot fault it. There is not one thing that you cannot do with it. Lots of people say that you can’t beat an IPhone, but that’s rubbish, because I find the HTC desire HD, much better and easier to use.
Good: Wide Screen, pocketable,
Bad: Battery, placement of some functional keys
Comment: I had my contract expired and I was really confused about which phone to go for...i wanted to go for some Android and my fiancee suggested me HTC Desire HD and I am really thankful.I am loving my phone and it feels great to own it. I will personally recommed this phone to anyone. Its yet another milestone from the Twainese...
Good: Almost Every thing
Bad: BATTERY -BATTERY-
Comment: I had it for a week sorry to say its going back 14 cooling off period..
exchange for galaxy s 2..
but its much better phone than boring Ipnone 4 and there sheep owners..
Hope HTC spend more time perfecting it.
Battery big problem--under sunlight screen is not good enough--Dropping calls in middle of london
Still my 7 days romance with the HTC HD was a good one.i be back once they sort out the problems.
Bad: Battery life, but with RollsRoyce you do only 14mpg as well...
Comment: Having this phone about 6 months now can't say anything bad. With previous firmware (2.2 FoYo 1.72.405.3) had some reboot issues, but that was ROM related. Now, after upgrade to 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) the best just got better. Although missing Sense UI 3.0 it's still perform as high end device should.
Going through the whole Desire line up (Desire,Desire Z) this is the real beast and will keep it until it will die on me ...
Recommended for business or techgeek users...
Good: camera, market
Comment: After I had enough of my iPhone I thought it was time for a change so reluctantly when my contract ended I decided on the HTC desire HD. I have to say I do not miss my iPhone what so ever! Getting the HTC desire HD was a desision I do not regret and am very glad that I no longer have to pay the rip off iPhone prices. I would strongly recomend this phone to anyone. Even though the battery is not great I would say it is just about the same as an iPhones.
Good: Screen size, HTC Sense, Aluminium body, every feature you'll ever need!
Comment: A lot of people complain of battery life but usually at the beginning of owning the phone. These batteries take a couple of weeks to 'condition' and I can confirm as a heavy user after 2 weeks ownership, I can easily have 24hrs of battery life. Considering the specs of this phone that is pretty good.
The phone looks and feels expensive, performs exceptionally well and is honestly a joy to own. My only gripe is the poor speaker. It really is too quiet and this is a big let down. Headphones are absolutely fine but inconvenient.
I am someone who changes their phone every 6 months as I get bored easily, I have no wish to change this phone for the forseable future. It's a keeper and I cannot recommend it enough. Especially to those that like gadgets with fully loaded features.
