Good: Easy to use keyboard, fast internet, cheap price, all rounder good
Bad: small screen, no video chat even though there's a front facing camera, photos
Comment: After researching a phone that would suit my needs best, including a reasonable price, I bought the HTC Chacha. It's a very good phone. I text a lot & the keypad is fantastic, so easy to use! The keys are spaced apart so no pressing the wrong keys with fat fingers! I don't do loads of internet with my mobile, so the small (albeit, very clear) screen is passable. The screen is better than a BlackBerry, but is still small. I have many deaf friends who use video chat to talk using sign language, so I was specifically needing a phone with a front facing camera. However, Skype video is not supported on the Chacha & the small screen doesn't work well with other software. The camera is OK for snaps & has a flash, but can't cope with any movement whatsoever.
So, for texting, typing & Facebook - Brilliant! For internet - fast, but small. Battery life is good if you don't go on-line. It depletes very quickly if you use the internet - get spare batteries!
Comment: love it
Good: stylish phone
Bad: aww battery isn't so good
Comment: love it amazing phone .. touch is very nice and love market also...
Comment: Amazing phone. i got my phone about a week and a half ago and it is gorgeous. the screen is just right being slightly larger than a blackberry and fits comfortably in your hand the touchscreen is great too!!!! the keypad awwww im in love with the keypad the buttons are good and sturdy and gorgeous to use!
i love this phone
Good: its a click away from fb you can download loads of free apps you can use it as an internet hub and also the small screen isnt as bad as all the people are saying ye its a little small but it doesnt even make much of a difference.
Bad: limited flash support in browser
Comment: i think its a really good phone, easy to use, graphics are amazing, amazing qwerty keyboard, easy face book access, thousands of free apps, and it runs the latest version on android !!!
Good: Design, keyboard, easy to use, a lot of features
Bad: battery life
Comment: it's a great phone and i would recommend it to everyone, but the battery life isn't that great - if you use your phone quite a lot through the day it will only last for a day..!
Good: The keyboard is lovely and easy to use.
Bad: Everything else -- the battery, the internet speed, the phone, the email settings.
Comment: A truly horrible product to use. 1) The battery life is pitiful -- I've tried an app killer, changed the battery and I barely use it over the course of a day, but it still lasts me less than six hours maximum. 2) The email settings don't allow you to connect it to Virgin email accounts (after days of trying I eventually got it to receive Virgin/NTL mail, but you can't send mail). 3) The internet is horribly sluggish -- it will take you more than a minute to access a page, and you can forget about playing YouTube videos or music -- that just ain't gonna happen. I am now stuck with this piece of crap on a contract for two years. Do not make my mistake. I urge you not to buy this phone. Pay a bit extra and get an iPhone.
Good: capacitive touch screen, qwerty keyboard, quick charging, bigger screen as compare to my E71
Bad: If you do not turn off Wifi and GPRS the battery gets drain so quickly, low internal memory
Comment: It is realy great mobile, I was E71 user and found this fone realy great.
I am comparing it with my Nokia E71 mobile, good touch screen, bigger screen I am happy with my HTC Chacha.
Good i have found:
1. Quick charging
2. bigger screen
3. touch screen
4. fast internet
What i have found bad
1. sound is slow I keep on sleeping and cannot wakeup by its alarm
2. internal memory is low
3. When you turn on gprs and wifi all the time the battery gets drain so quickly
4. I used to check my running applications in NOkia e71 but here htc chacha shows me running process but not applications
Overall its realy great mobile and I am happy with it, so I suggest htc chacha for E63, E71 and E72 users but remember you will not have the same battery life.
My chacha sign me in automaticaly to facebook chat though I sign out from fb chat don't konw why, anyone can tell me how to stop it not to sign in automaticaly on fb chat ?
Good: the qwerty keyboard and android with sense overlay works surprisingly well, this is a fantastic combination.
Comment: This feels surprisingly well constructed, the screen angle really works , its a fantastic bit of kit and id suggest it to anyone.
Good: fb key, QWERTY, shape
Bad: screen size
Comment: i love it! ;p
