Good: As with most WP operating systems; the interface is very crisp, vibrant and quick. Applications run smoothly and very very rarely every freeze. Aesthetically looks very nice with its variety of colours and cleverly shaped edges to make it look thinner than it actually is. The 'People Hub' is great and facilitates the transfer of your phonebook from your previous phone very well if you sync up your contacts with your Email.

Bad: The App market is baron, even by the Windows App market's standards. I previously owned an Omnia 7 and even though the selection of apps were limited it still provided a sufficient range of them. However it would seem HTC does not have the rights to many of these apps that Samsung and Nokia do. The battery life is relatively poor too and the fact that you cannot take the battery out might make things frustrating in the future.

Comment: Overall its nicely designed phone. It has the potential to be one of the best had it not been so severely handicapped in terms of the number and type of apps available.

If you're someone who just likes to use a phone for what it is, messaging, phonecalls, internet browsing and checking social media than this phone is perfect for you.

If, however, you're a person who really likes to utilize their phone for the multi-media platform it is with a variety of different games and apps then you might want to look at something else because you will find yourself very frustrated at the limited market and capacity of the phone.

Good: Looks nice, exclusive Beats headphones, light weight/not chunky

Bad: Lack of apps - even though Nokia's Lumia is also Windows Phone, it has lots of incredible exclusive apps like Nokia Music and Maps, and HTC's lacking in anything like that. As stated above, the design is really good, but I think the Nokia Lumia 920's is even better. The camera isn't as good as the Lumia 920's, and it doesn't have wireless charging, 4G, even a radio, which the 920 all does have.

Comment: It's a cool phone and nice to use. It's lighter and thinner than the Nokia Lumia 920. However, the 920 has many many more advantages - a PureView camera, wireless charging, 4G, great Nokia apps etc. If you want a top Windows Phone 8 device, go Lumia 920 (I've used it and it's as good as a Galaxy S III, it really is!).

Good: Windows 8, Camera, Screen.

Bad: Non-Removable Battery.

Comment: Will be switching to Windows 8 from Android as soon as this comes out. I love the look of this phone and the OS is such a well needed breath of fresh air to the world of smartphones. I love the look of this phone and like how thin it is (all other windows phones to date seem to be quite bulky and fat). And that is one of the main reasons i will be choosing this over the Lumia 920. I cant wait to hear more about it, especially the camera. I want to know if it will have many of the same features as the One X e.g HDR, burst mode and the ability to capture photos while recording video, seeing as though it has the same camera and image chip as the One X.

Good: Looks pretty

Bad: No SD slot and only low storage included

Comment: Noticed from the video that time goes backward on this phone. One shot show 14.48 as the time the next shot showed 14.44 :)
Depends on whether the battery can compete with the Razr Maxx before I would consider buying it, The Razr Maxx does not get many mentions on Cnet so maybe Motorola are not bribing them as much as Apple or Samsung.
