Good: new android 4.X version number to keep the fandroids happy, destroys overpriced plastic junk like the SAMDUNG Galaxy SIII
Bad: google play says coming soon-unconfirmed price, it will be £390 NOT £230
Comment: Google cannot compete on low prices. The quality has to be there. This device Looks not so upscale.
I'm still hesitant to buy an LG phone with their poor history of building phones, My last lg phone Fell apart in 3-4 months!!
Why the 8GB version?HELLO this is 2013!google are trying to push their privacy abusing cloud services. 8GB[5gb usable after formatting and android os] is barely enough... I don't install many apps but I do use my storage for music and even with spotify + offline it takes up quite a bit of storage.
Good: All the above mention with exceptions
Bad: No 4G conductivity, Memory Expansion + Poor front camera
Comment: Would have been an awesome phone with the but without 4G conductivity, no memory expansion capability and a poor front camera lets it down. On the plus its cheap sim-free bonus
Good: price, specs, wireless charging
Bad: unsure about LG
Comment: Everyone knocking CNET about the price syaing shoddy reporting, get your facts straight. CNET have it right here...
what better a source than google them selves...
I will be buying this, amazing price
£390?...google play store says its £239...
That most certainly is not amateur reporting.
Good: At least one Android powered phone gets a new android version number, shame about the other 95%..
Bad: unconfirmed build quality
Comment: Nice price, shame about LG and their shoddy quality control
Good: At least one Android powered phone gets a new android version number, shame about the other 95%...
Bad: BS fantasy price. A twitter rumour is used as fact on cnet?! the phone is priced £390 NOT £240
Comment: Why are cnet picking unsourced prices and publishing them as fact?? shameful amateur reporting
Good: Price, screen, Jelly Bean
Bad: No SD card
Comment: Fantastic screen, high end specs and at a mind-blowing price. Google has really started something with the Nexus 7 and now Nexus 4. This could be a game changer. I hope other manufacturers are paying attention.
It's a shame it doesn't come with 4G, though I guess we could see a 4G model sometime in the future once it becomes more accepted (can't imagine many people are going to be attracted by EE's premium prices).
Good: Price, Screen
Comment: Even without an SD card slot this phone is on my Christmas list to replace my still brilliant GS2.
For that money I'd be mad not to.
Good: Price, spec
Bad: Brand, I can't trust lg with phones, not yet anyway
Comment: And yes, Google did it again! Well done.
Good: Price, specs, no bloatware
Bad: So far, so good
Comment: Amazed by the low price asked. This is going to give a lot of headaches for both Samsung and Apple, though Samsung is also releasing the Nexus 10, which might produce a considerable hit on iPads sales.
