Good: premium feel, camera, fast and smooth, Screen 720p, google keyboard and Goodle Chrome, cheap price, unlocked, get updates quicker
Bad: cheap sound, glass can break easily so you need a good case
Comment: i love stock stock android takes less space and no bloatware.
nice and simple phone.
unlocked to any network out of the box.
premium feel made of glass.
bargain price from google play store.
easy to root and ROM, latest updates straight from Google.
Nexus 4 is the first to get the updates.
Good: Just about everything!
Bad: Nothing to speak of!
Comment: Moved from a much loved Blackberry to the Nexus and I haven't looked back. Build quaility is superb and not something I would generally expect from LG but this is different class. The only thing I would caution is that the Nexus is glass front and back and is quite slippery so be careful! As for operation, it works seamlessly with my PC (Linux) with documents and spreadsheets updating almost instantly. I also like the fact it records the websites I've visited on my PC so I can hit them whilst I'm out.
Bad: Nothing so far as usual Google products are good
Comment: Upgraded from Google Samsung S..I was concerned as switching from Samsung. We have a good LG TV. But happy to see it's a new bigger better world. Although I miss the slight body curve of the NX S. The flatness is just a tiny bit lesser biometric.
Love the fast screen switching etc.
I'd like to ask you or anyone: How can I or my friends view the Photo Sphere 360degree pics on another computer? Is there another open source software for that? They look nice on the phone (although some Photoshop touch up is needed. Especially pointing the 360 in the sky direct in the sunlight tends to be difficult visually to hit the next matching stitching dot. As one can't/should not view the phone direct towards the sun.
Comment: Some useful tips and tricsk about nexus 4..
hope it will help you...
Good: Opporating system/easy to use & physicly nice
Bad: screen should be bigger (phone has wasteful space above and below the screen, no wi fi calling. WTF??
Comment: great phone.. i would have kept and not wasted my money on the s4 if the no brainer retarded fact of leaving out the wifi calling was just mindlessly stupid!! i have that in my old phones and they couldn't put that in one of the best new phones out? OMG. dumb dumb. and.. there is sooo much wasted space above and below the screen they could have made the screen bigger. Otherwise great phone. But where i live i have no service so i got to connect to wifi and if i need to call someone from home without wifi calling it breaks up and drops calls. SO no go for me! if you don't need wifi calling (consider trips though and saving useage) then save money. it's a good phone for you!
Good: Good quality, well built, easy to use
Bad: battery, as with all smart phones it lasts about a day.
Comment: Changed from work provided apple which was rubbish and difficult to use. This one is fast, well built.
Good: Looks great and when it works it's great.
Bad: Build quality issues.
Comment: Great phone, understated looks and easy to use, paired down apps. My phone works sometimes, mostly not. Charging circuit doesn't work properly so I have had to do three factory resets - phone has now gone back to Google for a refund.
Good: Amazing Screen, Android 4.2.2, Stupidly Fast
Bad: IT'S MADE OF GLASS
Comment: I love love love this phone so much! It is amazingly quick and it looks stunning. Probably one of the best phones out and the price, bonus! The only bad thing I can find is the fact it is made of glass and I am terrified of dropping it but that is no reason to not buy it... Must have!
Good: Battery life, build quality, interface, price, performance
Comment: I bought this to replace a Galaxy S3 that I never really liked. I think it is better in every way, and have found it a delight to use.
Good: Screen, Processing, 3g Speed, Android
Bad: so slippery, no sd slot
Comment: Ok, I have had my Nexus 4 for some months now, one of the first successful purchasers from Play store. Before that I had a Galaxy S2, and Lumia 800 concurrently. The Nexus 4 is a fabulous smartphone in many respects, it is super fast, with a great screen which allows operation of desktop websites without too much hassle, of course my S2 could do this too but not so well. All the good points are well known so here are the bads from my perspective:
It’s a bar of soap to hold or even put down, expect to drop it.
The lack of an sd slot is a real pain. I know I can move things on and off and it’s easy from my NAS over home network, but I would have an SD slot please!!
The screen size makes this as big as I want a phone to get, no bigger!! I do hope that we will get top hardware in this form factor in future, and not be forced ever bigger to get. No more rip-off devices like S3 mini, which isn’t even a match for my old S2.
That’s about it, been using smartphones since my Orange SPVC600 and finally had my say!
