Good: Everything

Comment: This phone, I bought on Saturday and it is now Monday, had taken over my life. I cannot stop playing with the thing. Its amazing. I just don’t get what peoples problem are. Yes it doesn't have Bluetooth for file sharing but the iphone user can either send the file/photo by email (or various other means) or if someone wants to give the user a file, then they could probs find it for themselves on the internet which is FREE.
Yes it doesn't have video but the cameras pretty good - and fast - and i know the cameras only low quality but its a shadow in the greatness of this phone.
Yes you can't take the battery out but why would you want to anyway - the batt life it great.
All these things are trivial compared to what you get. Its fast! (Yes as fast as the advert) and with many means on internet access your always with it.
Applications are amazing and you can get ones such as Palingo so you can IM people reducing the amount of sms's sent (but you also have email to reduce that too)
Music is SO well done on this phone I can't describe it to do it justice. The way you can turn it sideways for a scrolling, art cover, view is great!
You can put on vidoes, TV and audio books (!!) to name a few!.
The subtle animations on it like switching screens, deleting files etc etc are so smooth it’s great.
I know its pricy but at only £99 (or even free over a £35 taffif) its is a bargin! Promise you won’t be able to get enough of it if you buy one.
As you can probs tell I LOVE this phone, and also that my spelling is bad :P, but best thing i bought so far!

Good: Slim, and beautiful

Bad: SMS are terrible, keyboard are the worse, speaker are not clear, still 2.5 G phone

Comment: I have Nokia Communicator 9500, E90 and dopod 838 pro, And Iphone 8G for the last 4 month and i am really dissapointed due to program always crash, SMS is not working properly ( iPhone cannot distinguish the new sms or the old one you have) even you already upgrade to os 1.1.4, keyboard was not really good due to you have type on letter "i or o or P" these letter are close to send button so iPhone will send you sms automatically before you finish the sms.
2) if someone give you their address and number you have to write it down on a piece of paper first or remember it and write it down again to add your contact (it does not look like smart phone at all)
3) no function cut and paste like other smart phone does.
4) if you have more than 500 contacts which most busy people do and you do not remember the name but only the company so YOU CANNOT locate them due to IPHONE does not have search engine only use SCROLL by alpabetical order..
5) we have to use the 3rd party software fo SMS like "Dsms" so we can use the FORWARD and sent To many function.
6) In Australia or outside UK and US this phone is NOT support it mean none of the GPRS function is working so no wheather checking, GPS, eternet and ETC.
Hopefully Apple we fixed this problem.
by the way i like other apple products and i buy most of their products but not this one. Orange might taste better :)

Good: i like everything about the iphone

Bad: nothing really

Comment: hi i have had my iphone for about 4 months it is an american iphone and works perfectly have had no problems .the iphone has so many features i am only finding some now.the camera is great and when you have taken your photo the zoom is out of this world.the keyboard is big and easy to use .the iphone is very easy to get use to and is very simple .the web browser is also very good and very fast .the ear phones are pretty loud and have a button on them to answer and end a call the big screen makes it great to watch a film on .the iphone also has an airplane mode which is handy .the maps and sat nav have very clear pictures as well as road map i would not trade it for anything

Good: Stupidly easy-to-use interface, All in one multimedia device,

Bad: Slow internet connection, low res camera

Comment: The phone is brilliant. That does not mean perfect, as everyone seems to think it should be, it means brilliant.

It oozes apple's easy-to-use style and elegance while maintaining a powerful device. Nothing is hard to do, whether it be typing, calling, checking voicemails, internet, it's all just the push of a button. The ipod is amazing as well. 30 seconds to choose and purchase a song from itunes straight to your phone is rediculously good.

There are tonnes of wireless spots around London to help if you need them, but i have had no problems with the standard connection.

Google maps on the phone is gobsmackingly good. Whether it be getting to a job interview or home from the pub at 3 in the morning its always ready to go.

I've put the ipod away and just sit on the tube watching videos on the beautiful screen.

Keyboard is remarkable as well. As you type in slang it automatically adds it to the memory for next time.

To fully appreciate it you need to spend time with it.

On the downside, the internet connection could be faster and the camera could be a higher res. But nothing's perfect.

It's the little inbuilt joys that make this phone so good. Apple have made the most user friendly phone i have ever played with.

Good: Interface and thats all i swear

Bad: Everything else,its rubbish.

Comment: Sorry,but i get so annoyed when people,and even experts,get so caught up in this iphone hype.Sorry,i have had mine since last October,it is the biggest load of junk i have ever seen.The call quality is rubbish,and i mean rubbish,the camera,god only knows where thats come from,a lucky bag.There's no video on it,trying to connect to the internet takes,well you'd might aswell say best part of a day,especially in some areas.The battery is awfull,and if something goes wrong with the battery you cant take it out,to fix.You got to go to itunes to download music, its just all wrong,everything about it.Its great looking at it,playing with it for a few days,the interface is good,now that is good,but thats all.Once the novelty of that has worn off,its the biggest pain in the a!!!!,there is i swear.Why im so annoyed,when this phone came out i thought it was going to revolutionise the mobile world.So i had to get one,and it was going to be ideal for me in my line of business.Mistake,big mistake,not only is it rubbish with the business side of things,i cant hand it to my kids,to enjoy,with photos,videos,downloading music and stuff.To start with,you cant get hold of them because the call quality is so bad,that is if you can get through.Sorry for being so long winded,i am,and i have nothing against apple products,i have other stuff by them which are fine,but please people,open your eyes,unless we moan they'll never improve this piece of junk.Give me a sony ericsson Nokia, or samsung anyday,i swear.

Good: Interface and recent updates to software

Bad: No rubber grips on the side.

Comment: I got the iPhone on the day of release, and havn't looked back. Love the interface and as this the first iPhone from Apple they will know doubt bring on board full 3G and Bluetooth with battery improvements. Looked forward to seeing what comes in 2008!

Good: Looks, memory and screen

Bad: Cost, no 3G, rubbish camera, Battery (wait til you need a new one)

Comment: How can this phone get a rating anywhere near its opposition. It has beautfiul looks and a fair size memory with a nice screen. However this is a mobile phone/camera/internet browser at heart. Its rubbish as a camera only 2MB, try taking a shot in a dimly luit room then it really shows it colours. As a phone one of the main things is audio quality of call, this is decidedly dodgy. Internet browsing, hang on is this a 3G phone???

Bottom line is the LG Viewty and Nokia N95 kicks it butt on almost everything apart from its looks, screen and memory. however this is a phone, none of those matter that much. Oh and it costs a fortune to buy in comparson.

If not for the apple officianados this phone would be rated at 7 at best 5 at worst...

Oh and yes I have used one, a friends and I was glad to give it back... Bottom line is overrated mediocre technology dressed up in a gorgeous package...
