Good: design, features

Bad: battery and price, lack of adobe flash support

Comment: The iPhone 3GS is a very nice step up from the 3G, adding some really good new features that users have been crying out for since the first iPhone.
However, it is very expensive and the battery is not something that would make you cry with amazement.

Good: Looks, Curved outside

Comment: Its a great device...If you can fork out over £500. Get one if you want but thats £500 out of your pocket

Good: Fast, responsive, usability, connectivity, safari browser, TONS of brilliant apps which cater to everything, aesthetically pleasing, good screen, great iPod, call quality is actually quite good and possibly the best i've had in a phone, good battery life for a smartphone, iTunes, Youtube, brilliant touchscreen implementation......I can't be bothered mentioning any more good points lol :/

Bad: Fingerprint magnet, average screen resolution, no camera flash, not very customisable, no front facing camera, average camera

Comment: I have had the iPhone 3GS for over a year now and this has got to be the best handheld device I have ever owned. I am upgrading in a few months, probably to a HTC because they are amazing, but this phone has been a pleasure to use. It's so fun and I use it all the time even now! Love it :)

Good: Good PDA!!

Bad: Worst Phone Ever!!

Comment: There is huge hype surrounds Apple products, they are flashy, fast, but thats all!!
iPhone 3GS is very good PDA, and game device, BUT very bad phone!! Te main function of a phone is phone functions, and the main function of MP3 player (iPod) is audio quality .. BUT Appale is not getteing this!!!!!

Good: Easy to use, loads of apps

Bad: Battery life and reception on o2

Comment: I enjoy using the phone and enjoy accessing new apps. I also use it instead of my iPod Nano to listen to my music. It does however eat battery power like crazy and the reception is not great. So probably not the best phone for work use. My BlackBerry was more rugged for work use.

Good: innovative

Bad: too controlled

Comment: overhyped and expensive fashion accessory that does what it says on the tin (its a small tin).

A smartphone with no flash player, seriously WHY . Probably will never have one after Steve Jobs bad mouthing Abode with crashing Macs issues.

Now Cnet giving it a better write up in terms of good points v bad points and still giving it the thumbs up over the htc desire.

Where the iphones problems are specific to the iphone Cnet use generic problems with the htc desire to knock it down. Your guys opinions are often followed by customers so cmon lads imparial sensible advice please
