Comment: Its suitable and stylish. I absoultley love the internet, most ppl thought it was a blackberry ha! Overall gd as a back up phone or a kids 1st phone I would reccomend it for people who like simple and easy to use phones, and the FM radio is the best feature.

P.S: If u think dis phone is crap dats cuz ur using it as a day - 2 - day phone lol jks.

Good: Incredibly low cost, excellent keyboard and bright screen

Bad: You can't complain about a lack of camera, it's £5!

Comment: I've just purchased one of these little phones for a PAYG second business line. In the past, I've always associated Alcatel with the nastiest phones the market has to offer, but I have to admit, this phone's changed my mind.

I know it doesn't have a camera or any internal memory worth speaking of, but that's not what this phone is about. This phone is simply for texting, emailing and making calls, which is all I need on a second phone.

Messaging is a surprisingly nice experience, the keyboard is quite something when you consider the cost of the phone. Keys click when pressed & it doesn't take long to get used to the spacing & where everything is on the keyboard.

The menu system is pretty easy to learn, and most things are where you'd expect them to be, with a couple of exceptions. The sms inbox is called 'SMS Chat' in the messages menu, which also has the nice touch of threaded conversations.

The email side of things is adequate, setting up most mail accounts is very easy (I set up a Gmail account in a couple of minutes) although reading long emails can be a little difficult due to the small amount of space on the screen.

The phone is very light, which some people may think is a bad thing, but personally I think it's great.

The screen is bright & looks pretty good for a 128x160 display and from the display settings you can configure the backlight time-out as well as a "screen saver".

Battery life is a lot better than expected too, I bought the phone 2 days ago & it came with 2/3 battery bars charge out of the box. I've spent a good hour playing with it & made a couple of calls and texts - the battery has only just dropped to 1/3 bars so far. Obviously I'll have a better idea of real battery life after a few charge cycles, but so far it seems like it could last several days on one charge.

Very impressed with this nice little phone, would highly recommend it to anyone who just needs access to sms, email & voice calls.

Good: reliable, good email and it has a qwerty keyboard

Bad: internet is not good enough, no camera and no way of adding more memory

Comment: this phone is good it is fundamentally a phone used for texting and calling with the exception of the superb email service provided. it boasts an internet service but this internet service simply isnt good enough and is only used by me when absolutely necessary. but all this is overshadowed by the brilliant price tag and for the money that it is, you cant go wrong

I own it
