Comment: Excellent mouse, runs smoothly thanks to its 1500DPI resolution and dark-field laser tracking.
Points not noted in most reviews that make this mouse a good buy are the replaceable AA battery, the mechanical switch for the scroller and large rubber reef. These are good solutions to three major issues I've encountered in the past where either battery charge life diminishes, the scrolling mode change mechanism breaks or the mouse feet easily peel off. This mouse was built to last.
I would say it falls short of a 5/5 because it has no real new innovative features, buttons supplied are average, if you don't have a reflective surface, dark-field laser tracking means little to you and the DPI is good but it falls short of a gaming mouse. It's a good all-rounder that excels in no particular area.
I will also note there are some definitely faulty mice in circulation. A common error appears to be that the mouse freezes after inactivity for 1-2seconds and in the case of my second mouse there's a hiss that can be heard from the mouse. Logitech support have confirmed both of these issue are hardware related, if you get this you should return your mouse, I've just been unlucky enough to experience both of these issues!
