Good: It does enough for me, at an affordable price
Bad: at this price nothing.
Comment: cannot understand the moaning and groaning re it's speed and the slowness of it. if you want a superfast laptop go pay the price, and to iluvkos above the didn't charge for the pre loaded progs just delete them if you don't want them. The old saying "You get what you pay for" is true I can watch tv play music attach my iphone mp3 player and up to five other devices I bought a ucb adapter that gives me the other ucb ports
Good: NOT MUCH
Bad: SLOW poor quality absolute rubbish.
Comment: Worst laptop i've ever owned or used it's so so so so so so so so very very very very very f****ing slow and will never ever buy another toshiba
Comment: Okay laptop but the ram is below par for even average internet use.
Good: keyboard ok and screen decent albeit reflective
Bad: SLOOOOOW and loaded with Toshiba garbage making startup a chore
Comment: Well done, Toshiba!
Not only do you pre-load your machine with more garbage than our local tip, you also fit it with less ram than you need to operate the bundled Windows 7. Absolute genius! Startup was taking almost 30 minutes from new until I deactivated 87 unwanted startup scripts, mostly related to Toshiba. The laptop was completely incapable of running Microsoft Office 2010 as it took 15 minutes just to open a Word document. It even displays a loading bar and takes twenty seconds to open Control Panel (I kid you not). The only way I found to get the thing even working was to spend ages deleting unwanted programs and disabling endless startup scripts, then operating Windows 7 in low res without transparencies etc. Even now, the machine is very slow and still takes ages to do even the simplest tasks. I'd never own another Toshiba laptop and couldn't recommend this in any way. Even models with greater RAM would not merit purchase at anything over the price of a ten year old Dell. That's what my Toshiba replaced and is inferior to in every way.
Good: it turns on
Comment: AVOID AVOID AVOID...after 4 months and hardly any use (2, 3 pictures in my pics) the hard drive failed.
Bought only to surf the web it hardly manages to do this, the modem constantly drops the connection and then locks up for hours...updated realtek drivers did nothing. toshiba help desk said it was a known fault..thanks, that makes me feel better idiots.
USELESS, 3rd toshiba in the house and the last, toshiba should be ashamed.
Good: As I recieved from the DSA it has all the things I need on it and it works
Bad: The webcam is the WORST quality. It's terrible, no matter how much you try to alter the settings, it will either make it worse or show no change at all.
Comment: I wouldn't recommend it for teenagers or young adults who like to take self photos or anyone who uses Skype.
Good: Pretty simple to use
Bad: I struggle to connect my laptop to the TV due to the lack of ports
Comment: It's not too bad, this is my first laptop and it suits me just fine. I'm happy just to be able to play all my games on it.
Good: its keyboard and the design and lots more.
Bad: the face recogntiion its not for me.
Comment: good things.
1.the light weight design
2.the it is really well bilt for a laptop
3.the keybnoard is smashes and easy to type on
4.the screen is rezalotion is brilliant
i would recomend this any one
Good: Price, screen, weight.
Bad: Keyboard, touchpad, sound
Comment: The amazing noisy, flimsy, bouncing keyboard - horrible.
The "multi-functional" touchpad, which does everything except what you want it to.
The bassless sound - no bottom end whatsoever, tin cans & string would sound as good.
