Good: Works great.
Bad: Speakers are not vary loud. Harder to player newer games with good graphics.
Comment: I recommend.
Good: Good performance
Bad: Sound quality and cooling
Comment: My first "gaming" laptop !
ive played all the 2011-2013 games on high and medium !
ive played battlefield 3 on high and no frame was lost !
i recomend this laptop
Bad: Horrible performance, constant shut downs, overheats constantly
Comment: A horrible product. Biggest waste of 600 bucks ever. A year and a half later and it's crashed once and the constant overheating makes it difficult to even run facebook games. Flat out ridiculous. Buy anything else than this piece of trash.
Good: Great build-in quality , good looking , confortable keyboard and a nice numerical pad , powerfull cpu and decent videocard , does not overheat .
Bad: build in speaker audio quality is a bit disappointing , no bluetooth conectivity , only 2 usb ports and one e-sata port .
Comment: A very stable configuration which , at this price range , handles most applications beautifully , including intense 3D ones like video games or video editing . It's more than a year since i own it , and i had no issues with it , everything works like a charm . Comes pre-installed with a 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium , which is great for every day use , and also it packs intresting and usefull software from Toshiba . The heat evacuation system does a great job , efficiently eliminating the heat and producing little noise in the process . All that said , Toshiba made a great bang for buck device .
Bad: Keyboard has problems, Poor speakers, Too hot
Comment: Key board has problems, replaced my key board within 2 month. Speaker quality is bad. Become very hot, something like heater.
Good: Light, good for gaming if you turn settings down
Bad: Keyboard has issues, can get really hot, screen is lame.
Comment: All round it's a very good laptop. It was the first laptop I had ever bought so I might be a bit biased.
They keyboard really lets it down. You spend £700 on something you expect it to work properly. Aparently it was known to have this random typing glitch by Toshiba who did nothing about it. They aren't sure how to fix it...But if you are having trouble with the Keyboard randomly missing letters when you type then you have to turn the laptop off, take out the battery, hold the power button down for a couple of seconds, put the battery back in and continue using it. It's only a temporary solution as it always messes up again eventually.
The screen is also a bit rubbish when you compare it to some other crispier more colourful laptop screens.
It's done me well for a year and a half, it's really stable and I havn't had a problem with it other than the keyboard.
I just wish I'd have researched more gaming laptops as this can't really make things look pretty without some major FPS loss.
It's good, but I think nowadays you can get more bang for your buck.
Good: solid laptop , good graf . quiet good for gaming .
Bad: bit noise , very weak speakers
Comment: Quiet heavy laptop , very strong and great quality all around the laptop . I play Counter Strike on it and its works quiet good . I like the fan all the heat comes out from left side and not underneath . The keyboard is nice and soft to type on . I have had it for 3 month now and so far i havnt seen any problem with it . i like the shiny design to .
Good: Overall Functioning is good.
Bad: Missing HDMI port, Battery life not so great, HardDisk crashed within 1yr.
Comment: I am using model number -L650-I5310. Had purchased in Nov-2010, Have been using it on average basis of 3hrs. daily. Overall performance is good. But a major problem i suffered is HardDisk got corrupt due to which had to lose all the data. Battery life usage is average.
Good: fast in general, opens programs quickly, multiple programs open at once without slowdown
Bad: fickle internet connectivity, glitchy keyboard, freezes periodically in certain programs, weird clicking sound
Comment: The speed of this machine is much faster than my previous one, probably thanks in large part to the i5 processor. I can open multiple programs quickly, and run them without any hitches (in general). Unfortunately, there are some programs that seem to suffer from what I call a "mini-freeze", in which the activity suddenly freezes for several seconds and then resumes. One example is FL Studio 9, which did not have this issue in my previous laptop. Another issue is that some keys on the keyboard only work once in a while - for example the Print Screen key. Also, the internet connectivity also sometimes leaves something to be desired: when connected, it is generally fast, but sometimes it fails to connect even when in close range with the wireless router (again, my old laptop did not have this problem). Finally, not really a big issue but it's kind of weird: the laptop makes a noticeable click soung every dozen or so minutes regardless of the current activity. However, all in all, with these moderate/minor blemishes aside, I prefer this highly over my old PC just due to the speed at which it runs.
Good: it is good in performance..nice to use, wide screen.
Bad: limited usb ports.
Comment: my laptop have a booting problem but now it is resolved.i have a suggestion that toshiba has also to start the door services like dell.because in the case of toshiba its takes lots of time. In this competetive field you have to provide the door services also.now the comparison is like which company is giving the good service.
