Good: When I bought this product in August 2010 I thought it was a great little netbook, despite it being small, it was ideal for home and away use.
Bad: However 15 months down the line and just 3 months after the 1 year guarantee had expired, it completely stopped working, we tried everything we could think of to get it to work, we could hear the fan running when it was switched on but the screen remained blank and the only things to light up were the on light and the battery light. After calling Toshiba my husband was told it could be the mother board and there was nothing that could be done to make it work. My husband says it wasn't accessing the hard drive
Comment: I think that for this to happen after 15 months on a Toshiba product is a really bad and am very disappointed with my purchase. It wasn't used every day and I have taken great care of it by keeping it in a padded netbook case, it has never been dropped or mis-treated and looks as good as new but just doesn't work. I will never buy a Toshiba netbook or laptop again as I wouldn't be able to trust that it would work beyond the guarantee period. I would be interested to hear if anyone else had this problem.
