Good: It's not Apple.
Comment: Sony VAIOS are great PCs. Only Windows Vista OS was crappy enough to dent their rep.

Good: Fantastic screen, good construction, the fact it comes in bright green, awesome keyboard and touchpad, plenty of connectivity, fast and responsive
Bad: Battery life
Comment: Can't help thinking this review is a little late - I've owned this laptop for almost a year now!
My model has a 1600x900 screen and it's genuinely fantastic, makes working on two things side-by-side so easy. Can't go back to a lower resolution screen now. It's pretty fast and responsive for the stuff I use it for the keyboard + touchpad are ace. It also looks pretty awesome and has stood up well to a years worth of being unceremoniously dumped in a bag and carted around school.
Battery life is undeniably poor, but this doesn't bother me as I normally use it within reach of a power socket and it's easy enough to dial down the settings, in which case 4 hours of light use is just about possible.
One of my friends has a 15" Macbook Pro and my laptop exceeds or equals every single one of his features .. all I'm missing is the battery life, the aluminium, and the Apple logo.
Great buy!
