Samsung N150
One of the first netbooks to use the next-gen Atom N450 CPU, the 10-inch N150 offers fantastic battery life. Combined with its reflection-resistant matte screen, this makes it a good choice for road barbarians, even if it doesn't offer a massive performance improvement over preceding netbooks

Samsung X120
The 11.6-inch X120 is our favourite ultra-portable laptop with an ultra-low-voltage processor so far. Its battery life isn't its strongest feature, but it's an ideal size, it has a well-judged specification, and its price tag is very tempting. Its low-key design is also very appealing

Samsung R720
With a stylish design and good all-round specification, the 17.3-inch R720 desktop-replacement laptop represents excellent value for money. Its 3D graphics performance isn't particularly brilliant, but it can still handle older titles, so casual gamers will probably be satisfied

Samsung N310
Following the standard netbook template in terms of its specs and performance, the 10-inch N310 manages to stand out from the crowd with a distinctive and appealing design. It also benefits from a top-class display and a great keyboard and trackpad, making for a good all-round machine

Samsung R510
Whether you're after a work or a leisure laptop, with a 15.4-inch screen and fairly impressive performance, the stylish and affordable R510 is well worth investigating. It also benefits from a sizeable, comfortable keyboard with an anti-bacterial coating, although we expected to see more USB ports

Samsung N110
One of Samsung's confusing brood of similar-sounding netbooks, the N110 has a good keyboard and an excellent trackpad. While not as thin as something like the HP Mini 1000, Samsung gets points for making a netbook with a long-life, six-cell battery that doesn't look like it has a kickstand

Samsung N120
Alongside the slightly smaller N110, the Samsung N120 is one of two successors to the highly rated NC10. It promises better usability, better battery life, enhanced sound capabilities and a user experience that belies its netbook heritage

Samsung R610
For a laptop with a Blu-ray drive, the attractive R610 is relatively cheap, and the aspect ratio of its 16-inch screen means you can watch high-definition films without any annoying black bars. It's also a decent multitasking machine, and its keyboard and connectivity options aren't bad either

Samsung R560
If you're seeking a desktop-replacement laptop within a limited budget, check out the 15-inch R560. Although no aspect of it is particularly outstanding, its good performance, decent range of features and attractive price mean it's a great package overall. It's also pleasant to use -- despite a reflective screen

Samsung R710
The attractive 17-inch R710 is an excellent choice for those seeking a powerful but relatively wallet-friendly entertainment laptop. With muscular internal components and a built-in Blu-ray drive, it offers a winning combination of price, speedy performance and good 3D capabilities

Samsung X360
Lighter than Apple's MacBook Air, with excellent battery life and a 128GB solid-state drive, Samsung's X360 is an attractive ultra-portable. Performance-wise, the X360 isn't suited to intensive applications, but its reasonable price makes it well worth considering

Samsung Q310
The Q310 is almost identical to its predecessor, the Q210, with the only noticeable differences being the bigger display, extra 1GB of RAM and a slight change in port placement. It's also kept the glossy black finish, which unfortunately is smudge-prone -- so is it worth the upgrade to a more expensive machine?

Samsung Q210
Samsung may be reticent about entering the netbook market, but it's going full steam ahead with its ultraportables. The latest of these is the Samsung Q210, the successor to the acclaimed Q70. It weighs in at under 2kg, has a 12.1-inch display and some fast Centrino 2 internals

Samsung R410
The Samsung R410 desktop replacement could be an excellent choice for anyone on a budget looking for a second laptop or even a student with shallow pockets. Kitted out with a good core specification that rivals more expensive machines, the R410 is great value for money

Samsung Q1 Ultra HSDPA
Sit back, relax and prop up the Samsung Q1 Ultra HSDPA ultra-mobile PC for a touch of on-the-go surfing. This attractive upgrade to the previous Q1 and Q1 Ultra models features HSDPA and Wi-Fi so you can access the Web at your local hotspots. How conveniently mobile of it

Samsung G15
Samsung's G15 is a true desktop replacement that doesn't even have a battery and comes with plenty of storage space. The 17-inch monitor produces great colours and there are plenty of connections available, while the machine feels comfortable to use

Samsung Q45
The Samsung Q45 is a high performing laptop, with enough processing power to give a larger notebook a run for its money. The Q45 is small enough to be easily portable, looks good in its glossy black casing and offers great colour reproduction on its 12-inch screen

Samsung R60
The Samsung R60 is an excellent all-round desktop replacement and at under £500, it's a bargain. It looks great, with sleek, curvy piano-black casing. The touchpad includes a scroll area, making it easy to navigate long documents and Web pages

Samsung Q70
The Q70 one may not be the thinnest or lightest ultra-portable laptop Samsung has produced, but it uses the latest Intel Centrino technology, codenamed Santa Rosa, and is fully Vista-capable
