Good: If you shop around, best value good performance that won't be yesterday's laptop the day it arrives.
Bad: Not much really.
Comment: A 12" is (I reckon) the truly sensible mobile laptop, but they're silly money or poor spec. I therefore instantly liked the Q210 (which is neither), but it is not xd card compatible (I use Olympus cameras and laptop out and about) and only 3GB ram so not dual channel. Q310 has better on-board flash card options and 4GB RAM (for beyond-Vista). Both Q210 and Q310 are 64 bit ready so no problem there, but the 13" Q310 just seems the rounder machine and still very mobile. I'd have given it a '9' if it had an e-SATA port (as well as or instead of the the present HDMI port, which most of us will never use I suspect), but a 34mm Express card e-SATA converter is £13 - not very neat, but heh! Started out with Q310 ASS0UK with absolutely amazing battery life, but had to send it back and it couldn't be replaced (virtually sold out in the UK and I know why) so I now have ASS3UK version - a bit faster processor and larger hard drive, but a bit less battery life. Battery-life mobility is still extremely good, but just not the 4 hours+ I got with the ASS0. I reckon the Q310 ASS3UK (with good processor, fast FS bus and fast RAM) is hard to beat if you're prepared to take 5 minutes to check alternative web prices, but if you find a pre-owned Q310 ASS0UK for sale (that seems genuine) bite their hand off.
