Good: Payment process

Bad: They take your money and run!

Comment: Dell is great at letting you pay, but very poor at service and delivery. Never delivered my product and 3 months later still waiting for money back.

Never Again!

Good: Back-lit key board, overall style

Bad: Dell Service - poor Quality Control

Comment: You'd think Dell would not send out stuff with expired drivers...

Had some gremlins out of the box but now I've updated the drivers (8 of them) - absolutely awesome.

Good: impressed by performances but a lot of problems.

Bad: headspeaker sound quality, touchpad freeze, led screen

Comment: I bought this laptop a week ago and i am impressed by performances but a lot of problems. I am a little disappointed by the quality of the screen, not super clean and sharp on 13 ', although very brilliant.
LED screen is a bit cheap.
touchpad crash and i need to restart the computer
Pros: Fast CPU
backlit keyboard (gadget but beautiful)
Attractive very successful, silent product, but at this price(prize)
Cons: I have a lot of electric interferences on my screen.
The sound in exit headspeaker, when it is connected on your hifi made by Crackling ,damaging to your experience of musics / films.
The touchpad last generation allows circular zooms and rotation but even there some instabilities and crashes to foresee(plan)!!! Very often you lose the timekeeper and the mouse usage, not means to find some help with the keyboard also freezed and you lose the control of Windows. conclusion you have to rebooter the PC
It warms far too much, it is not possible to stay with on knees.
no remote for Windows media center as the previous xps version 1330 !
a lack of conception, quality and be aware that Dell don't provide always a nVidia 9500M even you order it !!! All sites of benchmark received the check pc with the good graphics card, except customers!!! A real swindle.

Good: Sleek design, new features, very advance compared to my last laptop.

Bad: The fan is quiet because IT HARDLY DOES MUCH thus making it really hot in a short period of time.

Comment: Before I decided on this laptop I read many reviews and gradually fell in love with the design although I didn't like the look of the laptop.

As I opened the laptop, I was very excited as I had been looking forward to it for ages. First impressions didn't disappoint me at all and the design of the laptop looks even more desirable in life than in pictures.

I spent the whole night exploring and discovering many new features that I did not have on my last laptop therefore making me more captivated and amazed every time I discovered something slightly awesome. For example, the face recognition option for added security when logging in. *thumps up* Annnd the batter indicator on the laptop telling you how charged the battery is on a scale of 0-5. There are lights on a battery which are activated by a button next to the indicator which tells you how fully or not fully charged the battery is.

The laptop was extremely fast and exceeded my expectations when I was transferring all the data from my phone to the laptop. And trust me, there is a looootta stuff. Like those 800 odd pictures which took 10 SECONDS [I KNOW] to transfer. Literally.

Another good pointer is that all amazing back lit keyboard I bought this laptop for. You can change the brightness. There are two levels and you can turn it off altogether. Being a night owl who refuses to sleep, this is VERY useful especially when you have to pretend to be asleep when the 'rents are checking. The hinge is also very smooth and doesnt make that loud creaking sound when you try to shut the laptop slowly. Another plusplus when you're using this piece of amazing late at night. :3

The fan is also very quiet but that leads on to my only disappointment as it probably means the fan isn't doing much thus causing a VERY WARM warm up of the base. >__>

Overall, I am very please with this purchase and seriously think it is my university fund well spent! <3
