Comment: By what I have heard this is a amazing laptop, and I want it so much. But i need someone personally telling me this is what I want.I've found a good offer, so price isn't a big problem, and I dont care about transporting it. I only play minecraft at the moment, but i want to play many other games like, COD, skyrim, etc. Please tell me, and also i want at least 100fps for minecraft :D
Good: ASUS G75 V Series is a good system for graphic designers. I am satisfied with working performance.

Thanks for ASUS
Good: Not sure yet, pretty lights.
Bad: not working right out of the box
Comment: My brand new (just out of the box) ASUS G75VWDH73-3D Will not do a "Create System Image" (error says Not enough space to create shadow copy on storage location) Storage location is the F drive it's empty, (straight from the factory:formatted) alternate storage location: external HD, alternate location per request from support staff: C drive all failed). It will not restore back to factory settings either. Both operations fail. I wanted to be sure they worked before I started adding anything to the machine. After hours on line with support staff and on the phone repeating the processes over and over, they finally told me that the RMA (Return to Manufacturers Authorization) system was down and I'd have to call back for a RMA number. Called back the next day, it's still down (currently on 3rd day of no RMA #). Each time they make me go through the processes again. This is a nightmare. I expected a working computer and not to have to send it back for repairs before I had a chance to use it. They sent me Windows 8 ISO with a thank you for contacting ASUS. I bought ASUS because I thought customer support was highly rated. Not the case, use caution. You buy it...you own it, even if it arrives not functional.
Good: Super Power House
Bad: Audio ( Headphones or jawbone cures)
Comment: I have purchased 3 other laptops prior to this. HP failed, Toshiba Qiosmo X875 Failed, Fujistu nh752 failed. The winner is Asus G75vw!!!! I run all my games on high to ultra and never have problems(60 fps and higher). The Toshiba ran same fps but over heated and locked up all the time. As for people saying its pricey is crazy. 16gb ram, 3gb gtx 670m, I7 3630 cpu all for 1499 is a steal in my book. I wish I had just purchased at the start and saved a lot of time. Any one looking for a serious gaming system, look no further!!!!
Good: Powerful, fast.
Bad: 2.25 hour battery time
Comment: This is a strange, strange review. First, I have the G74, not the 75, and I'm waiting patiently for the G76.
The review is strange because this computer has been on the market almost 10 months, and the next gen will likely show up in another 60 days....kinda pointless to review this one.
And why would ANY computer released in the SPRING OF 2012, even if it now has Windows 8, come with a touchscreen to take advantage of Windows 8? What an absurd comment.
I use my G74 connected to a 42" LCD.....it handles that and it's own screen, external mouse and keyboard, 2 external HDs, an external BluRay, a bluetooth headset and then runs the 5 pieces of software and 3 browsers I ALWAYS have running....
...effortlessly. Then if needed, the laptop alone goes in the backpack and to the coffee shop. It's basically a workstation to go....
Love my ROG.
Good: Fast CPU/Graphics Chipset, 2 Hard Disk bays
Bad: Horrible Audio Chipset (VIA), ugly 17.3 matte screen
Comment: This machine is a best in terms of performance, the CPU and GeForce GTX 670M can play anything you throw at it with style. The sad thing is, ASUS decided to use a VIA Sound chipset for the Audio this time rather than a Realtek or something else. The result? instead of getting proper sound from the left and right speakers and some nice bass from the bottom built in subwoofer, the subwoofer acts as a center channel giving you very crippled Audio with no Bass effect like the previous models. The G74 and G73 have superior Audio when compared to this. Another thing to note is the 17.3 inch screen. Yes it's big, but it is not the glossy type. It is a matte screen which make the colors look ugly especially white, you tend to notice specs of colorful rainbow dots rather than pure white. All in all, there are better options out there for gaming laptops don't waste your money on this as ASUS don't care about their customers and with 6 months after its release still don't have a proper Audio Driver to fix their crappy VIA Chipset issues.
Comment: You can get a Dell XPS 17" 3D (referb) on Ebay for under £1000 and better. And i got my Dell XPS 17" 3D (new) for £969
