Good: Very Fast

Bad: Can't upgrade RAM after purchase

Comment: Beautiful piece of kit. Works well with my 30" Dell Ultrasharp @ 2560x1600 and Photoshop. I paid £1450 for the latest model, 2.6Ghz, 8GB RAM & 256 SSD. Boots in 8 seconds and apps open instantly, including Microsoft Office. If you buy from Apple you can upgrade the RAM to 16GB before it's delivered. It's silent, you wouldn't know there was a fan inside even when it overclocks to 3.2Ghz, and stays cool. Feels extremely sturdy. Overall it is expensive, but Apple is all about luxury and things just working out of the box.The display is jaw dropping. Love the multi-touch pad.

Good: Light, Fast & Elegant

Bad: Can't upgrade RAM

Comment: People moan about the price, let's kill that one first. I just bought the latest model, 2.6Ghz with 8GB RAM and 256 SSD for £1450. Apple products have always been luxury products that just work, (Notice that no Apple product has 99p at the end of its price tag). You take it out the box, give it some details et voila! your iPad, iPhone and MacBook are all linked. It's all about everything just working together without having to be a rocket scientist.
Build quality is second to none, you feel like you could bang nails in with it. When not on my lap it's connected to my 30" Dell Ultrasharp 2560x1600. The HD4000 graphics are great for my needs dealing with Photoshop and a little video editing.
It's a beautiful piece of kit that boots in about 8 seconds.

Comment: Loved this review, it's a really great product, I don't know what I would do without it! But if like me you were a bit shocked with the price here's a tip on how to get this item for basically a £10 and a little bit of work!

All you need to do is go to www.the free scene.com (remove spaces) and sign up for any offer you like.

Its all been proven by BBC, CNN, Channel 4 and Channel 5

Good: retina display, nice screen and small size plus operates without making any loud sound.

Bad: no cd drive,

Comment: nice computer, does not get hot eaily like the other versions, the fan operates without making noise.

Bad: Subsequent bankruptcy and significantly lacking in power for this price bracket.

Comment: Lovely screen but that can't address the astronomical, take-equity-out-of-your-house price and the distinct lack of features for that price bracket.
