Good: Good looks
Bad: Far too expensive for what you get.
Comment: My Dell Inspiron 14z would leave it standing on performance and cost nearly half the price.
Good: The alleged long battery life.
Bad: The erratic nature of the wifi connection which has infuriated far too many owners of the new Air.
Comment: The wifi problem seems, so far, to be unsolved, and with Apple remaining silent on the cause buyers are aggrieved. They need feedback. Apple should be reminded, perhaps, that a good reputation, once lost is unlikely to be restored in a hurry. Meanwhile, opinions are divided between a software problem and a hardware design fault. One thing is certain, if cars were as unreliable as the Macbook Air seems to be proving where wifi is concerned, then our streets would be gridlocked.
Good: Battery life,design,
Bad: Big price
Comment: Macbook Air is undoubtedly a very good notebook
Price and lack of optical drive can affect a large number of users whose decision during the judgment can be negative so that they can decide to choose another manufacturer.
Air is perfect and the best "second computer" that you can wish for.
His task was not to be the main and only computer we can possess.
If you want excellent laptop computer that will be able to carry it with you wherever you go, the Air is an excellent choice for perfectly reasonable size and more pronounced weight that barely exceeds one kilo.
Take a look at this comparison at http://www.squidoo.com/apple-macbook-air-133 and You will see comparison to the another Apple laptops.Anyone considering purchasing this laptop needs to see the information in this chart.
Good: everything is good ..
Bad: my best games are not playing...
Comment: i want to play action 3d games in my macbook Air...
Good: Light, superb screen, brilliant design, fast
Bad: About £300 too expensive.
Comment: I bought my MB Air 13" a few weeks ago and it is superb. It has an excellent screen - far better than the 13" MB Pro. It is fast and copes easily with processor-intensive applications such as Adobe Lightroom or GarageBand.
Its aluminium body feels strong and sturdy and it feels rugged and ready for anything.
It is superb for working on the move. Dropping into a coffee shop or watching movies in bed - this laptop is excellent on every level.
Good: Revolutionary design, upgrade to USB 3.0, new Ivy Bridge processors, flash storage
Bad: Same old display resolution, size of the displays are quite small
Comment: OK well, it's a shame that the MacBook Air 2012 display didn't get the upgrade to Retina. Users will just have to make do with the old 1440x900 resolution. If you haven't used the new MacBook Pro with Retina display then you'll undoubtedly be fine with the Air's display, but if you have then you'll then realize that compared to the Pro's display, the Air's looks more pixelated and colors look less saturated.
But on a brighter side, the MBA 2012 did receive the new Ivy Bridge processors from Intel and USB 3.0. This is a big plus because the Air becomes even more powerful and transferring files becomes even faster.
The MBA 2012 still remains the market leader of portable notebooks and with even more power, you get the same great portability with that little bit more umph!
Comment: "It's worth noting too that when things got more intense in the game, the fans made a noise resembling that of a jet engine. This might be fine when you're at home, but if you work in a quiet office environment, it could be an issue."
Seriously, is anyone going to play Half Life 2 "in a quiet office environment"???
Good: Beautiful design and portablility
Bad: Lacks enough processing and graphical power to do high end tasks
Comment: As we all know, Apple is the leading manufacturer of consumer electronics and computers. Their products are designed to be beautiful, elegant and simple. In 1984 Steve Jobs introduced the first revolutionary Macintosh, which has evolved into the different types of Mac we all know today. The MacBook Air is an amazing notebook built especially with portability and weight in mind. But as Apple made the laptop thinner and lighter they had to sacrifice power. Compared to the MacBook Pro (which was made with power in mind), the Air simply can't compete.
Summary: If you want a portable notebook with excellent design that you will use for everyday tasks such as: web browsing, watching video, editing photos and composing documents then this is the notebook for you. But if you want a powerful notebook which you will use for tasks such as: Editing video, designing and playing games then the MacBook Pro is for you.
Good: Light and fast;Mac OS
Bad: No disc drive
Comment: Quite expensive but overall the best
Good: Almost everything
Bad: no CD drive and battery life
Comment: I wish 15 inches comes out sooner.
