Good: Power, performance, looks, customisability
Bad: Technical help - though still better than any other company I've dealt with on a phone
Comment: Basically my only problems have been when I got it, TV and DVDs wouldnt play in Windows Media Center (faulty codec). I rang technical support, they couldnt give me a solution apart from using respawn. That didnt work, so they wanted me to manually reinstall everything, I basically told them to get lost and went and found some working free 3rd party codecs.
Next I had a problem that Windows wouldn't boot at a later date, although this appeared to be a Windows problem not Alienware's fault, but they couldn't provide me much help on getting any data back.
On the positive side of things, I could understand the technical support as they were English, got to speak to people straight away and they were willing to help and get me to call back and talk to them, etc. etc. So although they could have been more useful they are still the best company I've ever dealt with on the phone by far.
