Good: the processing power is great.
Bad: overheating / battery and after a while the quality of the laptop started to show.
Comment: Ive owned the laptop for just over a year now. At first i loved the laptop... even though it got very hot and battery was relativley poor. However within about 6 months the casing of the laptop started to split when i opened the laptop so had to send it back and get it repaired. Since then it has happened again, the screen starting to flicker and the battery has been replaced. £450 for an i7 laptop looks great, but its such poor quality i can see why its that price.

Good: The price is now down to £450 Thats great for a i7 hdmi laptop.
Bad: Lack of documentation, too much rubbish software trials installed.
Comment: I wasn't expecting from this brand but the discounted price was too good to refuse when a i5 laptop would have cost more in the next brand level. But after a week I'm very surprised, the build is not bad and it runs quite and cold. I won't comment on speed because I myself trim the OS down removing all the fancy dancing stuff. So if you don't you'll never get the same results for the same laptop.
Only thing I'm having trouble with at the moment is getting used to the mouse pad. It seems very sensitive and I see no way to change settings. It's annoying when typing because the cursor will jump up the text without you noticing.

Comment: i've recently purchased this laptop and i must say, it is brilliant for the £479 on offer i paid. although i wouldn't pay the full £700 for it. i use it for music production and use ableton and reason and seems to work fine...
the battery life is poor at best but im never far from the mains in all fairness. keyboard is nice to type on. the wireless adaptor is impressive, i live in a 5 story house and have the router on the ground floor and get 5 bars of signal most the time.
i don't play games on it so i can't comment on the graphic capabilities.
the laptop does get quite hot mind. feel free to ask Q's if planning on buying.

Good: the processor
Bad: battery life/heating
Comment: i am thinking about getting a good laptop for HD video/audio editing as my current HP has a problem and i dont want to waste a lof of money getting it fixed as it is quite serious so i am thinking if i should go for a packard bell core i3 system or this. i just cant make my mind up.
