Good: compact size and lovely screen
Bad: battery life in real world about 6 hours not 8
Comment: Actually the model we have is a 4810tzg (z being win7 and g being graphics card version rather than integrated)
Lovely screen, no problems conecting, lightweight and does not get too hot.
Acer support really helpful too.

Good: It's thin, light and good battery life
Bad: The wireless connectivity is poor and frequently disconnects
Comment: Having spent quite some time researching a wide range of laptops I decided on the Acer 4810T 943 as this model has the superior dual core processor. The CNET rating was also a key factor in deciding to buy this product, and I managed to get it for a decent price, just £479 as it still has Vista Home Premium on it. I am awaiting my Windows 7 upgrade and hope that this will help resolve the wireless connectivity problems I have experienced. I have managed to connect to the internet with the new laptop via my wireless network, and know that it is not a problem with the router or connection as I have an old Acer laptop with XP on it which works fine all the time, even though it’s a little slow. I have contacted Acer customer support a couple of times via email, only to receive inane responses to my question about the wireless connectivity, despite having clearly described the model and problem, they have sent links on how to set up a wireless network!
Just as I am writing this review, the connection has dropped again, and the only way to reconnect is to restart the machine, I have had to save this text to the desktop in order to re-submit, most frustrating.
If anyone knows what the problem might be, please let me know.
Thanks

Good: nothing
Bad: comes to a complete halt consistently
Comment: does not work without powercord, unbelievable, now wireless failed. Acer does not give me a new one. Never had this with compaq, dell or sony in 18 years in it consulting. Shame

Good: Battery life and the screen
Bad: Slow down on using multiple programes
Comment: Thin piece of hardware but functions superbly..good price..has the optical drive which is needed in a laptop--even the adaptor is small
For daily use and more is great..comes with Vista and has a free upgrade to Windows 7 which is coming out soon..
Great for multimedia use too--music sounds good and the BBCiplayer works a treat and so do movies....
