Comment: pentium 987 6gb ram version, annoingly slow on multitasking , keyboard must be hit hard sometimes to type , poor display , heavy
Good: It is portable
Bad: No Service, poor quality....piece of junk
Comment: I am 64 and disabled so i purchased the laptop so that i could take it to the hospital when i have to go so i can stay in touch with my friends. I also purchased a 2 year extended warranty for $115.00 and paid $579.99 for the laptop. Second use the entire CD/DVD drive fell out in my hand! I thought it was covered, but Staples, nor Acer would recognize this as a malfunction and wanted $260.00 to fix it when it has never left my home. I also purchased a new desktop at the same time, do not be scammed by them!!!! Buyer BEWARE!!!
Good: It's blue
Bad: Bad customer support, bad repair team
Comment: Bought it and received a faulty machine - keyboard didn't work properly. Sent it in to be repaired - 2 weeks without a laptop. Received it back with a working laptop, but a faulty touch pad, when anything is plugged into the USB port, it switches off, when it is moved it switches off, and then also switches off for no reason while in use. Was told to send it in again. Explained that I do business on it and cannot go another 2 weeks to fix problems they created. Was told that there is nothing they can do, offered no alternative or happy medium where both parties are satisfied. I literally have to send it away again and hope that they can fix it properly this time. I was told to take it to court if I want to. But should CC them on all correspondence with Lawyers.
