"Does what it says on the box"
What I like:
Everything except the sound
What I don't like:
Very, very poor sound - unlistenable to, in fact
Review:
Was it not for the fact that everything other than the sound is superb on the R610, I would have sent it back! However, to begin positively, it looks superb, it is extremely speedy, the screen resolution is excellent in both iPlayer and for DVDs and CDs, and I love Windows Vista Home Premium, which does a huge amount of 'thinking' for the user. The sound, sadly, does not match up to the rest of this product. At first I was convinced that there was something faulty about the speakers or the sound card - that's how bad the sound is! But I'm fortunate to have an IT expert in my family; he checked it over and pronounced it fit and well..... but not very good at all. So, I've bought external speakers, which has solved the problem, but I think it's really very, very poor considering how much the R610 costs.

Pretty average netbook, and the Android OS is more of a hindrance than a help
Samsung R520
Not a bad budget laptop, but the bigger R720 is a much better option if portability isn't a prime concern
