Review:
I initially was going to go over the dark side, but I decided (at the last minute) not to buy a mac. I spent less and got more, as far as specs were concerned. I am relatively happy with my dv600. What I am not happy about is the inability (every-now-and-then) to close internet explorer. You have to open a new browser if that happens because it's similar to a frozen screen. I am glad that the whole computer doesn't lock up, and I can fix it with the three-finger-salute, however even after adding a gig of memory (now giving me 2 gigs) I still get those nagging frozen browsers. And to my surprise this morning, the whole computer locked up when I tried to wake it up screensaver mode - Ctrl, Alt, Del didn't work this time... I had to reboot. I don't know which one's more to blame for this problem, this laptop or Vista.

Not a bad budget laptop, but the bigger R720 is a much better option if portability isn't a prime concern
