What we think: With a solid array of components, a terrific set of features and the lightest weight of any laptop its size, it's a power user's dream, but it doesn't come cheap

"G4 17 inch to MBPro 17 inch"
What I like:
It's the same look and feel as the old machine
What I don't like:
It's the same look and feel as the old machine - I expected something more
Review:
This machine is fantastic! Don't use the transfer utility from your old machine as I did and DON'T use large desktop pictures. They kill it!
I upgraded from a 1Ghz G4 PB 17inch to this and used the transfer utllity. The new MacBook Pro was slower than the old machine.
Now I've cleared off some dodgy fonts using FontBook and dumped the huge Raw desktop pic and all is fine.
Lightning fast!

Pretty average netbook, and the Android OS is more of a hindrance than a help

Not a bad budget laptop, but the bigger R720 is a much better option if portability isn't a prime concern
