"Decent performance, terrible service"
What I like:
Decent performance
What I don't like:
Terrible service
Review:
Overall, I couldn't be happier with the performance... while it lasted. The laptop suffers from a poorer build than some other brands, and when things go wrong, do not expect Acer to provide much assistance. Also, it took 3 weeks to sort out the 'slowdown' issue my laptop was suffering from, sent it in under warranty and they confirmed it was a hardware problem only after 10 days of persistent phone calls. They dont care much for complaints, and they never called back when they promised they would. I was without my laptop for 3 weeks! My brother recently had an issue with his Acer laptop, sent it in for repairs and they LOST it! He went 2 weeks without a machine, so mine does not seem to be an isolated case, the service from this company is terrible. If you decide to purchase this very well spec'd machine, I pray you dont have to call on Acer if things go wrong.
