Typical price: £260
What is it: Slim, 10.2-inch netbook with Atom N270 CPU
What we think: Although it's dropped its predecessor's ExpressCard slot, it's a better netbook overall

We like:
Slimmer design, lighter chassis and lower price than the IdeaPad S10
We don't like:
Ugly, protruding battery pack; no ExpressCard slot

With the IdeaPad S10-2, Lenovo has slimmed down its popular S10 netbook and reduced the price. Unfortunately, it's also removed the ExpressCard slot, but the end result is still a better netbook
