Typical price: £700
What is it: Stylish 15.4-inch Centrino 2 laptop
What we think: Looks gorgeous, but is average at best in all other areas

We like:
Styling; ample hard drive
We don't like:
Average battery life and performance
CNET UK judgement:
The Pi 3540 is not as good as it should be. Its performance and battery life are merely average, as is its connectivity. There are certainly better Centrino 2 laptops available, but it's worth a look simply because it's so attractive.
