What is it: Ultraportable for students in developing countries
What we think: Provides excellent technologies that should filter down to consumer laptops

We like:
Small and inexpensive; solid, semirugged construction should hold up to abuse; includes Windows XP and Microsoft Office
We don't like:
Very limited built-in storage; low screen resolution
CNET UK judgement:
Aimed at students in developing countries, the Intel Classmate PC is an intriguing attempt at a low-cost laptop. We love the rugged design, but the small 2GB solid-state hard drive doesn't leave a lot of room for growth
