We like:
Attractive design; available with Windows Vista or XP Tablet PC edition; excellent screen/keyboard light
We don't like:
Moderate performance; no optical drive; only two USB ports; no touchpad

The HP Compaq 2710p stands out by virtue of its stylish design. It's not the lightest ultraportable, though, and many mobile professionals will want to specify the 3G option. The lack of an optical drive and a touchpad may also bother some potential buyers
