What is it: Ultra-portable laptop with the latest Centrino Duo technology
What we think: This laptop has good features and decent performance, but it's too heavy and too dull-looking to have us really lusting after it

We like:
Impressive glossy screen; decent range of features
We don't like:
Dull styling; rather heavy
You might also need:
Wireless mouse
CNET UK judgement:
The Q70 has plenty of grunt under the hood and a decent range of features. However, it's all wrapped up in a dull-looking and slightly too heavy and bulky chassis. Ultra-portables are all about sex appeal and this machine just hasn't got the x-factor to make it a real object of desire
