What is it: Ultraportable laptop with Windows Vista
What we think: A small and well-designed laptop that's as beautiful as it is comfortable to use

We like:
Piano-black lid and leather palm rest; extremely lightweight and very thin
We don't like:
Smallish keyboard; picks up fingerprints easily; no 3D gaming ability
You might also need:
USB mouse
CNET UK judgement:
The Asus U1 is one of the best ultraportable laptops available today, and more than powerful enough for Web browsing and office tasks -- just don't expect it to run 3D games
