We like:
Packed with features; attractive hardware design; extremely portable; superb-quality screen
We don't like:
Keyboard is too small for touch typing; small on-screen items are difficult to read; docking unit with optical drive adds extra weight
You might also need:
Buy an extra battery pack to get a full day of use out of the Libretto U100
CNET UK judgement:
Toshiba's tiny 1kg Libretto U100 (1.4kg with the docking base) may be just too small for many people to use effectively, but it's a triumph of design and engineering. The only hefty thing about it is the price tag
