Typical price: £1,600
What is it: A widescreen Media Center laptop with TV tuner and PVR functionality
What we think: The Qosmio squeezes a complete home entertainment system into a notebook, but its unwieldy weight and bulk make it far from portable

We like:
Big and bright screen; generous video output options; PVR features
We don't like:
Impractical weight; screen glare; kitsch USB IR receiver
You might also need:
You'll need a TV aerial and internet connection to use the Qosmio's TV and PVR features
