Comment: The Viewsonic Viewpad 7 (or Commtiva N700) is an excellent, responsive phone/tablet. Despite its massive screen (or small if you consider it a tablet), it is easily portable, squeezing into the majority of jean pockets and almost all coat pockets. It is sturdy and has good build quality, and it always feels like it was built to last even though its outer shell is plastic.
The screen has a low resolution for its size, and does not look as crisp or vibrant as the Galaxy Tab. However, videos look excellent on it and the very handy free case can be used as a stand for watching videos on the go. This has to be videos from the SD card though, as flash is not supported, so BBC iplayer cannot be viewed. The speakers are excellent and all in all watching videos and listening to music is a good experince. Games are also a pleasure on the phone as they are just as fun as on an Android phone except bigger (obviously) !
On the whole, the Viewsonic Viewpad 7 is a very good, suprisingly portable and quality phone/tablet. Its relatively cheap price (esp compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab) makes it well worth the money, even with the poor resolution and lack of flash. The experience and response is great, and i have no regrets buying it. 4 1/2 stars for a mostly excellent piece of technological pie.
