Good: Amazing screen, overall design, battery life, updated ICS
Bad: Slippery, get yourself a leather case before you drop it!
Comment: I absolutely love my Tab 7.7. I agree that the initial prices where excessive, but I was fortune enough to get my 3g version for under £400 last March, and found that price acceptable. Personally I didn't want a large screen like the one on the Ipad, so the 7.7 was just what I was looking for. The quality of the screen still amazes me every time I turn it on, and I have found the battery life to be pretty good too. One thing I got caught out on was charging via the usb data cable. If the battery is completely discharged and you use the data cable instead of the supplied power lead you will need an input of 2 amps. Most usb chargers are limited to 1 or 1.5 amps, and although they will charge the tablet if its already holding a charge, it does nothing when empty. It wont even switch it on, and you can b
Good: Not another iPad
Comment: I think CNET has got its US prices dead wrong. Just check the prices on Samsungs website - $349 as far as I can see
Good: Form factor/screen/performance/expandable memory/3G data or phone
Bad: Kies can be annoying when syncing device
Comment: Bought this device from Panamoz.com (5* recommendation for service and delivery) does without the IR blaster which is US spec.
Have upgraded the memory by another 32GB and improved the already good Android 3.2 to the smooth and fantastic Android 4.0.4.
I only hope that in the future Samsung will continue to support the 7.7 with Android 4.1.
Comment: This is by far the worst tablet I've ever used. The software is not stable and a lot of applications are not suitable. I've send this gadget back to the service center not less than 3 times due to the loss data. First, they claim it's the main board problem then it's the software and finally it's the LCD problem. You are unable to activate any apps as the whole device just freezes by itself.
For would be buyers, think about it carefully.....it's not worth for this type of headache...
