Good: Versatile and smooth device
Bad: Camera is next to useless
Comment: Interface is smooth.
So far experience using it is good.
Getting files in and out via a PC is easy ( I bought this because I was totally fed up with Apple products, I cannot easily manage files and folders with a non Apple PC)
Can function as a phone.
Battery not that long lasting
Speakers are both on the botttom, easily blocked by your body when you are resting it on your chest when you are in bed or reclining.
Camera is really useless. No autofocus. Grainy low quality pictures
Good: i love how if you buy a little keyboard and usb socket its practicaly a tiny amazing tablet. which while having 8 big powerful apps on at the same time it didnt run outta charge until about 14hours. usb plug is great and keyboards on screen are a little fidgety but the whole tab is amazing.
Bad: the fact it doesnt have a usb slot and wen you buy one online they plug into the charger plug so you cant charge and usb at the same time.
Comment: i really do recommend this tablet and if you are looking for a game tab then you will be happy to know that the tab responds very quik and the turning is great too.
there s alot of settings buttons but they all have good short descriptions of what the buttons do, which is handy.
it comes with microsoft powerpoint, word and all that stuff so its verygood.
the camera is actually extremely great and the timers and whatnot are also great.
its a fab tab and is almost like a kindle as it comes with an app called kobo which is a book thing.
if you want good music there is a great app from the playstore called fmusic. i find its really good as its almost made especially for tablets not iphones and thiings.
the samsung galaxy tab 2 is a winner.
even try itout in local electrical aplience stores and you will see what i mean.
i hope you get the great kind of quality i got.
one fault!! the charger i got with my tab broke it just stopped working and it took over 3months to get me anew one from samsung. this charger i have now is excelant!
Good: Good price
Bad: Not the latest in performance features
Comment: The tab 2 7.0 isn't especially outstanding, but it is a very competent 7 inch tablet and worth considering. I did a review here if you're interested: http://www.squidoo.com/galaxy-tab-2-7-inch
Good: Does everything I want it to do
Bad: No USB or HDMI connector
Comment: I previously had a Ployer Momo 7 which was actually quite good when it was working but became an expensive paperweight when the charging circuit failed after six months and a warranty claim would have meant sending it back to China.
I needed another tablet and the Galaxy Tab appealed due to its good specs and reviews, but mostly because it came with a TWO YEAR guarantee and was available from a local high street retailer. This tablet does everything I want. It may not be the fastest machine on paper, but I am yet do find anything that it cannot do. The screen is clear and responsive and the audio is surprisingly loud from such a compact device.
On the down side there is only a Samsumg data/charging connector on the bottom, which means that you will need to purchase an socket adaptor to attach a memory stick or other device with a USB plug. The supplied charger has a detachable lead with a USB plug on the end, so you could use this to transfer files from your PC.
The memory can be easily boosted by up to 64GB by inserting a micro SD Card. I currently use a 32GB card which is handy for storing films, music and TV shows without clogging up the internal memory.
The device has GPS and Bluetooth, although bear in mind that you will need to be within WiFi range to download the supporting maps, so it is only of limited use as a satnav.
Overall, I think that it was a great buy and I am very happy with it.
Comment: Very good one
Good: looks nice
Bad: ????????? how to use it?
Comment: got this free with phone. don't know what to do with it! help!
Comment: it is running hot and can't turn it off how do i do that i've tried every thing i had a problem turning it on because battery needing chaqing now i cant turn it off help
Good: Has latest updates
Bad: Dull screen
Comment: Great tablet for simply internetting on C-Net, Facebook, Twitter or whatever
Comment: how do i turn on my tablet?? been trying to charge it but it won't charge it's like it's afflicted with "sudden death".
Good: Has been updated to JellyBean 4.1 by Samsung
Comment: I have had this since October 2011 and I love it! I use it as a digital book while on the train (3hrs) to and from work. It's battery life lasts all day and more depending on your use. When I'm at home and I can't be bothered to look/ jump on my PC there is a perfectly good native browser to boot. My choice for this tablet over the nexus was no ad's. I hate them and therefore did not choose the nexus. It's certainly not as quick but then again I don't play games on this. It's build quality is superior to that of the nexus. It feels solid and well made and to boot has an expansion slot. Basically I recommend this to readers (kindle android for example) and those that occasionally browse.
