Good: Really good price
Bad: No 3G
Comment: Really good price compared to all the other tablets. Looks much better than the kindle fire.

Good: Jelly Bean, Speed, Google Now
Bad: The only complaint I would have was no 3G. Not fussed about a camera.
Comment: Already Pre-ordered this amazing bargain! Looking forward to its arrival. The Tablet will be running Jelly Bean and that means all its cool features. Whats not to like?

Good: Cheap cheap!
Bad: Dunno yet
Comment: Just ordered one. Has to be worth a pop at that price. Amazon may regret all the fannying about with getting the Kindle Fire to the UK....

Good: Stonking bargain
Bad: Lack of sd slot, not out yet!
Comment: Would have liked a microsd slot then I would have preordered the 8gb model right now without hesitation. As it is I now need to decide whether to shell out extra for the 16gb model. Still sounds like an absolute bargain however

Good: Price, Jelly Bean
Bad: Lacks a proper facility for photos / video, no HDMI out facility
Comment: I must confess that that for a new release, the price is astounding - clearly Google are seeking to corner the budget market and prevent Amazon from establishing a grip on the UK market (a missed opportunity there Jeff B!).
As someone who took a punt with the BB Playbook @ £199 for 32 GB, there is nothing here that makes me regret the purchase. Yes there is the lack of apps (although BB users have access to a good selection of Android apps), and the screen resolution is 'only' 1024x600 although it is difficult to make out the individual pixels.
However,it comes with a dual core processor (1GHZ) which provides a smooth user experience, records1080p video and has both front (3MP) and rear (5MP) cameras and comes with HDMI out for watching video on a HDTV!. This is a very respectable spec considering the Playbook is nearly 2 years old!
Also, I can use BlackBerry Bridge to hook up to the net and email using my BB phone without incurring additional data charges - I simply use my standard monthly phone data allowance.
In sum the Galaxy Nexus 7 will prove to be a hit, however the knockdown price of the BB Playbook which WILL receive the BB10 OS update next year is something which should be on any prospective 7" tablet buyer's list.

Good: The price is great. The screen seems to attract positive comments and access to Google Play is awesome.
Bad: Where is the SD slot? That is the only negative I can think of
Comment: I don't think having a camera is a good or bad point for the Nexus 7 since most phones have awesome cameras anyway. Further comments regarding the device are pointless until I have one. Will definitely try to get it asap! :)
