Good: high amount of pixels

Bad: small screen for a tablet, prefer ipad more than this, has a weird plastic feel

Comment: i hate the lack of apps, hard interface ,the only thing goog is the large amount of pixels

Good: arm cortex a15 processor

Bad: curvy corners

Comment: Completely idiotic comment: it's only a dual core processor. What the hell? While it is dual core it is also a cortex a15 processor and is currently the best mobile processor. There's a reason why samsung used it instead of a quad core one.

Good: AMAZING SCREEN, Jelly Bean, photo editing, 360 panorama,...

Bad: Not much just missing microSD card slot but I'm used to Apple so oh well

Comment: The 2 main reasons I would choose this over the nexus 7 is that it is SAMSUNG as Asus has a bad reputation and this has a rear camera and also has many higher specs and a quad-core processor.
When I found out that the nexus 7, as well as kindle fire HD, does not have a rear camera I was shocked as I love taking photos also I loved the size of the Nexus 7 and kindle fire HD and would think of getting the Nexus 7 if I was going to get a tablet even though its Asus but having no camera changes everything and alsdoI think it is very silly the 10 has camera and 7 does not due to the size difference!

Good: Its Samsung hardware without the junk

Bad: Its Samsung

Comment: All the Nexus devices offer great value without the bloatware, as the creators intended. Its my favourite flagship tablet that's why I bought it. My only concern is it's made by Samsung. And historically I've had little joy, long term, with Samsung products.

Bad: No microSD slot, no 3G capability

Comment: The lack of a microSD slot is problematic but I guess with the move toward cloud resources, that's not all bad. More problematic is the lack of 3G capability.

Good: awesome display

Bad: nothing

Comment: There is no doubt that Google Nexus 7 is great. However,Google Nexus 7 also has a few drawbacks, like the storage space is not expandable and only one camera. Why not try Ainol Novo 7 Venus? Ainol Novo 7 Venus is a great alternative in my opinion. It is also powered by Quad Core CPU ACT-ATM7029 based on Cortex A9 that runs up to 1.5GHz,it has dual cameras, features the same 7 inch 1280X800 IPS screen as Google Nexus 7. One drawback of Ainol Novo 7 Venus is that it has 8GB Nand Flash, but expandable to 32GB - this is very important and matters,I like this. It's sold at $149.99 only from JSXL Technology. I share this just because I think the more choices of Tablet PCs,the better for us.

Comment: i tried one of these in pcworld perfectly fast and gorgeous touchscreen ive commented because alhough cnet reviews are usually quite accurate.... but not in this case reading the review cnet seems to suggest that this tablet runs on a standard duel core cpu.
That is not the case it is the very latest arm duel core cpu with A QUAD CORE GPU AS WELL which what powers the stunning display. Maybe the revirewer should put the xbox controller down and research the device specs better......lol

Bad: Touchscreen

Comment: Forgot to mention touchscreen not as responsive as I would have thought. Takes a few swipes sometimes and when closing tabs I had to press more than once on occasions..

Good: Good screen, solid feel

Bad: Not fit for purpose

Comment: Only had it a day might be overreacting but I am dissapointed with it so far regarding apps that don't work. I wanted it in the main for media playing but it is very restricted at the moment on what apps will work. SkyGo, BBC IPlayer, dont work. ITV player is like watching through a letter box as will only work on portrait.I was reluctant to buy an iPad but I might have made a mistake here..This is the problem not being able to buy from a store and trying it out. The reviews rave about the screen and rightly so but it aint very practical at the moment. If you are thinking of getting one check out in a store when they get there and see if it covers what you are splashing your hard earned cash on . I Have got 15 days to return with penalties some serious thinking going on at the moment..

I own it
