Good: the browser is fantastic. on board memory of 64GB

Bad: can sometimes be a bit slow firing up apps. App market is not great.

Comment: I have had this tablet for about a week and find it very useful. I haven't needed to switch my laptop on for the whole time I had it, mainly because of the great browser and email application. The screen is very bright and has deep colours, the viewing angle is very good and HD videos look great on it. It has good stereo speakers on either side of the front of the tablet which are good enough for films and make listening to music ok.
Having two camera's on it is great, (5meg back 3 meg front, HD recording on both). Just a bit frustrating that there is no Skype application yet.
All in all a very good tablet for a bargain price of just £99.98. I'm well happy.

Good: all round performer with flash player, good cameras and stable operating system

Comment: Having used Apple and Android systems I find the BlackBerry PlayBook most accomplished by far. More applications are now being launched which adds even more to its appeal. A great product now its operating system has been updated. 7 inch was once criticised.. Now it is the coolest size to have. Strange how things change!

Good: Excellent build quality

Bad: Lack of video messenger

Comment: Does just about everything I want from a tablet, except maybe the lack of a skype type app.
I bought it from PC World for £130 (64GB) which I think it is a fantastic deal compared to prices of other similar tablets.
Reading the review seems harsh, it suggests this is only worth getting if you have a blackberry phone, well I dont and I'm happy with this as a stand alone tablet.
Theres enough apps to keep you going, granted the market isnt as big as android but half the stuff on android i wouldnt download anyway.
Top product.

Good: portability, performance, navigation, integration with blackberry phones (bridge)

Bad: getting the andriod app is not simple

Comment: I own an ipad 3 (which i hate) a samsung galaxy tab 2 (which i love) but above all i find myself using the playbook more than the others, the i pad in my opinion is a really really good photo frame (excluding stand) and andriod feels like an incomplete os that was made for games and eating up battery, my playbook i use for everything videos, books, messaging, checking my social stuff, and more recently playing some great games, stuff i have yet to see on android. it seems the playbook is the only one to leave the house, oh and i'm writing this from my it now.

overall in my opinion it's the ONE to get

Good: Size, interface, portability, security, screen, graphics.

Bad: Requires more apps to become a top end useful piece of kit

Comment: Such a useful device in many ways, bonus especially is size, battery life, screen, interface, speed. Take it with me when my laptop would be too cumbersome. Does everything I need it for; web-wise, email-wise, e-book, camera, video, photos, I could go on. Does require more apps thought as this would really come into its own then. A better documents app would make this superb.

Good: everything

Bad: nothing

Comment: This device is for those humans who do not want to follow the crowd and get an Ipad. I've had the Playbook now for a month and I love it. Yer it could do with some more apps but other than that it's spot on. Great OS and lovely hardware.
I paid a mere £180 brand new for the Playbook that's half as much as the Ipad. I've owned an Ipad and it's the same boring apple interface. This device is twice as good. Cnet you need to do an up to date review!!
