Good: Everything for the price, stop comparing it to Apple & Nexus 7 both far more expensive
Bad: For 119 pounds nothing
Comment: Good screen, smooth operation, good Camera front and rear, memory card slot, good speaker for what it is. Personally I think if you buy the Asus HD7 and remember it is a budget tablet, you won't be disappointed. Just don't compare it to the Apple Mini or Nexus 7 both are more than double the price!!
Do you want 7 inch tablet on a budget? Then buy the Asus Memo HD7.
Comment: I don't own one, but after a lot of research I find that everyones saying its a bargain at that price tag. Reviews are saying it has good speed and great for apps, but I've heard nothing about battery, someone help.
Good: Descent price for the feature content
Bad: Worst battery.. Device can not be used anymore...
Comment: I bought 2 Tabs for my Twin kids. I noticed one very critical issue with the device is battery, in both Tabs.
Issue: If you forget/missed/not-possible to charge the tab and it goes OFF automatically on its own. Then you dont charge it in next few hours, the entire device is dead. Next recharge does not work anymore. For me, the device is now a scrap.
I noticed this problem in both Tabs. One Asus has repaired(i think they replaced the battery). Now, I see the same problem again within 2weeks.
Never again ASUS in my life.
Comment: I am writing this to discourage anyone from buying an Asus Tablet. I bought a 7" Memopad in May. It stopped working after 3 months. I took it into the local Asus service centre (Hong Kong) and they claimed that I damaged it. I did not. It was not dropped or hit by anything. There was some internal malfunction. They refused to honour the warranty and quoted me a price to fix it that was the same as its original cost. I am extremely disappointed and I will never buy another Asus product again. Don't waste your money and please go for another brand.
Good: Great screen, sd card slot, cameras, speedy little thing, love it!
Bad: For me personally, nothing. I have a BlackBerry Playbook, and once I had put some apps on it, it got very slow. This is much better.
Comment: I have found this to be a really great tablet to use in the real world. Many reviews say that it is a little cheaply made, and that the quality of the rear camera photos is poor, but this is not the case at all. It zips along at a fast pace, and is very easy to personalise with the apps you prefer. I would recommend it to anyone. It also has an SD card slot, and can take up to a 64 Gb card. It is extremely good value for money. Buy one!!
Comment: Haven't bought one but the review and other comments make it a strong possibility.
I want a small and budget tablet to surf the Net, get email etc. Wifi is only okay.
What I also need is the ability to transfer photos from my Canon DSLR camera to the tablet. Mainly to view but also store to save the SD card int he camera overloading.
Can this table connect to the camera?
Good: sounds like a good first tablet to get. thinking of getting one
Bad: personally, don't understand half of the technical side, so laymens terms would be nice
Comment: will comment if i buy one.....
Comment: I'd come to the conclusion after reading varous reviews that this was the one for me, but was just looking for an adapter to connect to a VGA projector.
OOOOOPS - seems (according to ASUS) that this supports neither MHL, nor Slimport, nor Miracast.
So I'm puzzled by Paulo's comment above.
Bad: plastic and looks cheap
Comment: I own a N7 and to tell the true I enjoy more this one as N7. In many reviews nobody speaks about miracast. My memopad conects better then my galaxy s4 to my samsung smart tv!!!! That´s amazing! And in specs comparing with my N7 you have the benchmark results. 14000 antutu points (antutu 4) and 1350 geekbench 2 score. That´s same performance that the N7 for a underclocked CPU. Will sell my N7...
Good: Cheap! Expandable memory can be useful.
Bad: Speaker is pretty bad if it's the same as Nexus 7; no 3g option; battery not replaceable.
Comment: The review doesn't mention whether it has the four pin-connectors like the Nexus 7 and whether it fits the Nexus desk stand. I don't need a rear camera on my tablet.
