Comment: I personally think that the Fire is going to be much more of a competitor with the Ipod touch than with the Ipad 2. It's at the same price point, and who wouldn't want an extra 3.5 inches of screen size for their money? The Fire easily beats the touch on nearly every specification front (except for having cameras, of course , but who needs an extra one when everybody has one on their phone anyway?). The only downside really is the lack of apps available in the android store, however this is only going to grow.

Good: Small and portable, dual core and speedy, not too complicated, EXTREMELY low price
Bad: No cameras (perhaps a blessing?), may not come to UK
Comment: Not for me (I'm a pure Android fanboy no doubt) but my dad has been looking into a tablet, possibly, for web browsing, music and a few games/apps. He has even remarked on "why do we need to put cameras in everything anyway" so this could be perfect. I sense a Christmas present, if it comes to the UK. Come on Amazon, I've always loved you, don't fail me now!

Good: Portable, light, fast
Bad: Too small, not very powerful, runs android
Comment: Not a tablet I would recommend
