Good: good battery life,
Bad: touchscreen lags, bluetooth problem on keyboard, ram not upgradable, low capacity harddrive, limited usb connection, no mcrosd port.
Comment: waste of money, pricey, and after 8.1 update, it freezes/hangs/lags/ when running in battery.
if your still running at windows 8, dont update to 8.1, until it becomes stable.
keyboard has connection issues, you need to reconnect it every time your pc sleeps.
everytime i press the volume up, the narrator is the one being activated.
Good: great specs, strong enough to run all your laptop software, great screen
Bad: buggy! actually nothing works smooth. touch screen gets crazy, bad supprt from ACER, waste of your money
Comment: Bought this computer 3 weeks ago as my main computer. I used it until now for doing everything: surfing, mails, office, and even solidworks.
from my bad experience I can tell you it's a waste of your money. everything runs great, but so many bugs it's just impossible to work with it. for example: touch screen stop to response accurately after plugging off the AC, after sleeping it sometimes doesn't response at all, sometimes the machine just slows down and get stuck, something with clock speed and windows power plan...
I tried all - forums, ACER knowledge base, and even contacted ACER regarding these problems. they said I'm the only costumer with such problems, but posting on forums show different picture.
so don't even bother looking at it. go for surface pro 2, which is much more reliable, and your support will be good. so disappointed...
Comment: .if you are going to buy a product it's only you who knows what you need and what you required from a product. Every product has some unique and updated features and other are same to all product of same domain so use your own mind and take a smart decision by deciding your priorities and calculate the satishfaction factor by putting then all together.take an example if you want to buy one of two product samsung galaxy s4 and iPhone 5 both have their own importance samsung galaxy s4 has large display high resolution,13mp rear camera and Iphone 5 has aluminium body, small size, lighter, less cost.so it is difficult to give a winner without specification..now a person who wants a large screen ,better camera, higher resolution, andriod phone then he must go for samsung galaxy s4 and if a person wants a royal look, small size, lighter, less cost or iOS operating system he must go for iPhone 5. so we can conclude that if two or more option are confusing then we must think about our priorities.
for this you can use Sahiplan.com web portal which helps you to take a decision.it provide a nice functionality with a great best solution technique.i have tried it found it very useful .try it and make a best decision...
Good: Battery life, screen resolution, dock, keyboard, usb3 (x3 in dock)
Bad: wifi issues, lack of sd expansion
Comment: It's a great bit of kit. If you're having issues with the screen size, go into control panel and change the size of text and icons (choose custom, to increase to 200%). Make sure to use the w8 browser though, as chrome doesn't quite scale that well yet (webpages do if you set it up to, but favourites/menus etc are still tiny).
Good: Great showcase for Windows 8, Great battery life, Enough performance for a laptop replacement
Bad: WiFi suffers intermittent problems
Comment: This is the machine that made Windows 8 make sense to me. In this form factor the UI works wonderfully, and I ended up wishing all apps had a Modern UI version (recent updates have shown that Microsoft is improving the experience all the time).
The screen is a treat to work with - except for the shrunken desktop, but I usually connect a larger monitor through the HDMI port when working on large spreadsheets and the like).
My only gripe, and it is a big one, is that I have had numerous problems with the WiFi dropping which has resulted in numerous reboots, but the delight of the overall experience makes me very forgiving.
Comment: and the battery life is.....??
