Good: Lows, Highs, Clarity
Comment: I was about to join the others and make a bad review but I thought ! may be I am not using the right earbuds, at the time i was just using the one that came on the ear piece when I pulled the box. I switched out to the LARGE buds that fit my ears and it was over. Banging Bass, incredible highs, over all power with clarity...and to think I was gonna take it back, this product is simply the best.
Bad: There is zero bass, no warmth, and strange fit
Comment: I asked for these for a Christmas present as my iPhone headphones are knackered. I own a pair of Bose over-ear headphones and the sound is unbelievably good, but not practical for commuting. I figured at the price and reputation these headphones would deliver more than the standard apple ones.
They don't. They absolutely stink. I wish I'd read these review instead of falling for the marketing. I will definitely be returning them if my wife has kept the receipt.
Good: The packaging
Bad: Cheap-feeling, cheap-sounding. Massively over-rated and over-priced.
Comment: Like a couple of other reviewers, I bought these simply as they were the most expensive headphones in store, hoping that price might equate to quality.
On first impression, everything is fine. The packaging is very upmarket; stylishly designed and expensive feeling. It's only when you plug the headphones in do you realise that, of the 120 quid you spent on the headphones, 115 of it went on the cardboard box.
The headphones appear cheaply-made, especially when compared to similarly-priced offerings from Sennheiser or BeyerDynamic. The flat cable's a nice touch, but it's not as tangle-free as a cloth-wrapped cable would be. And as for the sound... The reviews all talk about deep, tight, thudding bass. Maybe my pair are just faulty then, as the bass is weak and flabby. Mid-rangle is OK, but the high-range sounds muddled and confused. Hardly an improvement over the standard earbuds you get with any half-decent smartphone.
However, they do fit well. The long stem seems to suit me and fits in my ears nicely. But that's about the only good thing I can think of to say about them.
Good: They are very stylish and have good bass
Bad: Very over ratted and overpriced
Comment: they are alright but are not worth the price they are over ratted because
dr.dre made them they are good but not good enough
Good: The logo and product packaging
Bad: Almost everything
Comment: For the price of £120, I feel quite ripped off. The only reason I bought these was because they were the most expensive earphones in the shop and that they were from Beats, so I thought I was going to have good quality earphones. The only good point is the beats logo which I suppose benefits your personal image. I guess people look at you and see the beats headphones that you're wearing, in which case a lot of people think that makes them feel and look quite wealthy.
However, if you're sensible enough, you should not buy them. They lack superior sound quality and design despite how unique they look. Because of the design of the cable, they seem to be quite easy to break especially if you are using them on a daily basis. The cable can become quite firm over time and feel a lot different from how they were when they first came out the box. This can make them quite easy to pull out the earphone if you don't take care of them. I feel as if I have to make sure I'm not sitting on them.
Good: the sound is great its the best earphones in the world its beautiful great sound very high quality
Comment: its great all the things is great
Good: Not a lot, stylish I guess
Bad: Everything else
Comment: I bought these for my son for Christmas, thinking that beats must be good (at the price you pay anyway). However I have just tried them out because he said he doesn't like them. Thinking he was been ungrateful I have just tried them. The first thing is they ARE uncomfortable, a tickling sensation was present when using them. Then the real let down was the sound quality, really tinny, no depth, even with bass enhancer swithed on on my I pod !
All I can say a set of headphones I have by JVC for £10 are better !! Avoid in my opinion.
Comment: It is really amazing the sound quality is good n well improved, i like it
Good: The name and look
Bad: everyhting else
Comment: The sound is good buy cost too much. No difference between my 20 dollar pair of Sony and skull candy ear phones as far as sound and quality goes. I have the HTC One X and it has the beats equalizer built in which adds bass to all the head phones so these beats did sound any different
Good: Sound quality is good if it does last
Bad: Very poor quility, realibility
Comment: I bought this ear phone. Paid more then $150 for it and it would find wiht good sound quality for 2 months. They it fail on me sound is still there, but I the remote cannot not control the funciton of the iPhone as all. Know it is definitely the earphone. As I work before on same iPhone. I check on my iPod, iTouch. And it does not work. I also own pair of Beat solo HD, I check that and that works, so it is definitely the Tour earphones
