"Entirely average"

What I like:

Quick satellite lock, easy to use, reasonably accurate maps

What I don't like:

Online Support, Pay for maps even though its new

I purchased this product recently & yes - it worked straight out of the box. Unfortunately the included map was well out of da.... no problem I thought.. I'll just download my free update [within 30 days of purchase] from the TomTo site via TomTom Home o my PC! Thats when I hit a problem - The site would not let me download the update. I contacted TomTom support [with proof of purchase & all the info about my device] & 2 days later got a reply.... unfortunately their reply bore liitle relation to the question I asked - namely how do I download an updated map!
My question was again placed on their Online Email... & I'm still awaiting a reply.
As I needed to use the device to get to Birimingham tomorrow - I ended up paying for the updates [£39].
TomTom make pretty goo satnavs... but its let down by their awful support!
