"Nice introduction to a PDA lifestyle!"
What I like:
Windows OS, seamless moving from static to mobile computing, WiFi!
What I don't like:
Seems to lean more towards PDA than phone
Review:
I've previously had a HP Jornada so the basic mobile computing features weren't new to me, but the familiarity of moving from a PC-based Windows desktop to the OS on the Vario is great. With WiFi, Bluetooth, IR and USB you are spoiled with connectivity options. The only downside is that I think it leans a little too heavily toward the PDA market, the phone side seems to be a bolt-on affair. On trying to enter numbers into an IVR while joining a conference I was a little lost off at first to find out how to bring the keypad up!
