Typical price: £350
What is it: Shiny silver small-format Pocket PC that talks to you
What we think: An unusually stubby Pocket PC that's comfortable to use and keep in a pocket

We like:
Cute and hand-friendly design; camera flash doubles as a torch; lots of built-in memory; flash memory slot is easy to get to
We don't like:
No 802.11g Wi-Fi; no 3.5mm headset slot; silly screen cover -- but at least it's easy to remove
You might also need:
miniSD cards
CNET.co.uk judgement:
The iPAQ rw6815 Personal Messenger is a short and stubby Pocket PC kitted out in silver. It feels comfortable to hold, and does a good job. It'll even tell you the name of whoever is trying to call you -- but we'll give the strange screen protector a miss, thanks
